Close to IU

Nice hotel. Walking distance to campus. A stop on the go express airport shuttle. Friendly staff. Bistro provides excellent customer service and quality food. I will stay there again. Small problem with my heat not getting warm enough in the room. It was handled professionally and to my satisfaction.

No extra kleenex in bathroom. Starbucks not well staffed. Long wait

Two thumbs up!

The front desk staff is very friendly as well as the cafe/bar staff. The barista offered to make me a custom meal when I said I wasn't sure what I wanted. It was a delicious flat bread pizza! I also had a great time, just sipping wine and chatting with him and another hotel guest at the bar.

Nice Hotel in Downtown

We found the hotel easily. Upon entering, we were greeted very graciously. The accommodations were clean and attractive. We ate breakfast in the restraunt and found it delicious.

Surprisingly Bad for a Marriot Property

When we checked in, the type of room we originally requested was not available (even though we checked in late in the day). The room we were first put in had a leak and the sheets on one of the beds were not clean (visibly stained). After complaining we were moved into a new room but not immediately told we had been moved. However the front desk staff was very pleasant.

Not the typical Marriott

Pros: Great location to downtown Bloomington and to the University
Cons: A more responsible Manager
Location: Some great restaurants and Indiana University
Dirty linens and towels were piled on the floor upon entering the room. The lobby bar was out of white wine and ran out of red wine. Did not have much in the way of mixes for drinks. Staff did not know where the Manager was.
