I have stayed at this property multiple times. The staff are incredible and very friendly. My complaint comes from being in a room that smelled horribly of smoke. The staff did try their best to alleviate the smell but due to the hotel being completely full they were unable to move me to another room. Lastly, there were times when it was a bit loud. But the worst of it definitely was the smokey room. But the staff were really nice.

Room appeared to be unfinished. No toilet paper holder. Hairdryer and iron were laying on the floor behind the bathroom door with an extra blanket. No toiletries. Air conditioner/heater were very noisy. Poor breakfast.

Pros: big spacious rooms, clean sheets, clean pillows and clean shower curtain. Had a well kept and clean kitchenette in room. Seperate vanity from bathroom to get ready in the morning. Easy check in. Pool room looked good but we didnt use. Breakfast was hot with a good variety of choices! Cons: hallway carpets needed vaccumming, kitchenette sink in our room was corroded and very hard to get water out of. Toilet seat was loose. Walls are a little thin could hear our neighbors with a loud tv on. Service desk attendant was rude and seemed bothered by our questions. No dogs (service dog included) are allowed in the property.

I was extremely disappointed with the bathroom. The tub was filthy with dirt and grim and there was an exposed Rusty Bolt and screw at the top of the bath tub., an eye sore!!!!

We chose this property based on its closeness to the Special Olympics competition at ISU. For $100/night, I expected better. The room floors looked clean but were definitely not mopped as our feet were black when walking around. We asked for extra blankets because we had a child sleeping on the pull out couch, we were told there was only one blanket available. We took the kids to the pool and there were no clean towels. I went to the front desk to alert the staff that there were no towels and without speaking, she handed me 4. Luckily, that is all I needed. The hotel is right off of the highway so road noise was pretty heightened. It would be nice if there was a sound machine or something to try and help offset that. The air vent in the bathroom was FILTHY and there was little to no water pressure in the shower. The room had a whole kitchenette set up filled with empty cabinets. I would definitely not stay more than one day and don't plan on going back.

It was a hassle checking in. Rooms were not very clean. I was referred there by my cousin who lives in Bloomington. As a hotel manager I would never want a guest to walk into a room with a dirty bed and garbage still in the room.

Ipaid for my room online, so the added $100 upfront "Cash Only" deposit upon arrival for townies was definitely unexpected, and the King size beds being on the 1st floor blew me since Icould hear the people above walking around the entire time. Not totally bad, but to say the less Iwont be coming back.

When pulling out the sleeper sofa. There was a lot of mouse feces inside of the couch. When asked for another pillow and Sheets for the sleeper sofa we were told there should be enough in the room and that we could not receive another blanket or pillow. Terrible and rude

A new trend in hotels; pool is closed
Had a kitchenette but no plates, glasses, or utensils. When a hotel shuts down the pool, it should be posted !!! It should also come with a discount. Don’t look under the rim of the toilet, sticky stuff in the fridge, we’ll avoid on our next trip through.

The hotel was in decent condition but starting to need repair. The staff was very nice but the police came to remove a family. The pool was very foggy and I did not feel safe in the surrounding area.

Five people booked in room two towels pool area filthy but kids wanted to swim and for towels no lady at front screaming because she couldn't get towel said they have them all out walked back to room soaked to find no towels here.. No blankets for bed for kids bathroom filthy had to wash tub for kids to get in food unedible dirt all over floor no coffee no cream counters not even cleaned off from last people never recommend brought kids here for they could have Christmas with Dad but what a joke

the woman at the desk was on the phone and never acknowledged us for five minutes. the temperature in the room was 61 degrees and she would not say that was even possible. however an hour and a half latter she did come up and more or less got it up to 72 degrees.

Expedia foul up but decent hotel
This hotel was a surprise in many was. The room was really clean - no dirty floors here. The bed was comfortable and the layout of the room was great. The hotel itself was a little ‘tired’ but overall a good experience. HOWEVER, check in was a nightmare because of a glitch in Expedia’s system. The hotel had NO reservation for us. Luckily they had room and the woman at the counter was very helpful. She gave me info on calling Expedia but they couldn’t fix it so we just made another reservation on the spot with the hotel. After driving for 12 hours this was not how we wanted to end our day. Breakfast was pretty decent.
