Decent for the price

Posted Aug 7, 2015
Pros: The wireless internet worked in the room.
Cons: Larger bathrooms and more comfortable beds.
Location: Several restaurants and nearby the highway.
An okay place to sleep. Nothing fancy. Bed is uncomfortable. Bathroom really small. Other La Quinta's I have stayed at were much nicer than this location.

Not up to La Quinta Standards

Posted Aug 6, 2015
Cons: Room decore/cleanliness
We book La Qunita as we have stayed at many in California and have had great experiences, so thought this would be a safe bet. Not so. The room was dingy and disappointing, althoufu the owners were actively remodeling other rooms, so they obviously are aware of thier rooms need improvement. Also, the cleanliness of the rooms were questionable, as I developed pink-eye while staying here. While I cannot say for sure that it was from the room, I can't rule it out either. Breakfast was typical of this chain and was ok - we never really use it. All in all, a disappointing experience. If I come back to this area, I will probably use another hotel.

Overpriced for the quality

Posted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: Very little.
Cons: Total overhaul of the rooms. One wing was being renovated, but mold abatement seems pretty important, Would rather smell bleach than b/o and mold.
Location: No inf - just an overnight stop.
There was a terrible odor in the public corridors, resembling body odor. The room a/c was not turned on prior to our arrival, and it was hot and humid in the room. Carpets felt damp, there was black mold on the bathroom wall next to the shower. Breakfast area was cramped and poorly organized.

Just stopped for the night on our way to friends. Didn't have time to take advantage of facilities. It was fine for our purposes and convenient to the highway

Old and Moldy

Posted Jul 9, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Total remodel
Location: Plenty of restauarnts and gas stations close by.
Terrible odor in room and two others that we tried, mold in bathtub, shower head leaked and sprayed water all over the wall and floor, very little water came out to shower with. TV wouldn't work without setting in on channel 3, had to scan 40 channels to do that with the channel selector on the tv. Breakfast was lousy, no tongs out to remove rolls from cabinet and the biscuits were frozen.
