Surprise getaway for my mom's birthday

Pros: Excellent location, helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet location
Cons: Everything was wonderful - no improvements
Location: Lots of restaurants and shops nearby, 5 minute walk to British museum, Less than 5 minute walk to the Tube station
Rosewood London was the perfect location for a surprise trip to London for my mother's birthday. Very centrally located for walking to attractions or the central line Tube to easily access anywhere you want to go. The staff went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met - contacting me even before we left the US to be sure that we would have everything we needed at arrival. They surprised my mom with a birthday cake in the room and a sweet note. All the staff was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The High Holburn dining room is excellent spot for breakfast each day. I just cannot say enough good things about Rosewood! If I am ever in London again, I will definitely be back to Rosewood!

Super nice

Pros: Almost everything.
Cons: I feel charging for drinking water in the rooms is petty. The finest facilities and wonderful staff and you have to charge me for a drink of water!
Location: Great location, I would go back in a moment.
This is a great place more like a Palace! We made wonderful memories there and I wish everyone could stay there at least once in their life?

Great hotel. Poor staff

Issue at check in. Kinda got fixed. Got stuck in the elevator 3 times. Booked hotel SUV to airport and got a minivan costing more. Young staff who are not attentive to guests. Won't be back. Hotels with better service in London.

Beautiful hotel with an exceptional staff

We had a wonderful stay at the Rosewood. The staff made our stay special. They were attentive, courteous, and very warm. The people are what make your stay memorable and the Rosewood certainly delivered!

Amazing 10 Day London Stay

Pros: Perfect location for site seeing, helpful staff and of course Pearl (the Golden Retriever).
Cons: Shower was in the tub with high sides, difficult and slippery to get in and out of....not or seniors.
Location: Walking distance to British Museum, Soho with theatres and shopping.
Wonderful overall service with quiet executive suit. Convenient location. Walked to The Thames, Soho, Convent Garden and St Paul's. Tube on the corner. Never felt unsafe. Cook to order breakfast.

An Impeccable and Majestic setting in Busy London!

Pros: The service was just exceptional! Every hotel employee/amabassador truly cared about our needs. The restaurants where all truly excellent.
Cons: Nothing that I can think of.
Location: Hang out at Scarfes Bar which is an exceptional and posh bar! Walk down to China town and have dinner or go have a drink in Soho.
When we arrived at the Majestic gates of the Rosewood hotel where we where greeted by about 5 concierges waiting to open our taxi door and take our luggage. We felt like royalty as we where escorted thru the lobby and taken care of promptly(we where also greeted by the fabulous Ms. Pearl the resident Golden Retriever & hostess). Our check-in was not to be until 3pm and it was 10am and they still accommodated us which we appreciated greatly since we where exhausted! We where quickly escorted to what turned out to be a very comfortable and quiet room during our stay. After some relaxation in the room, we decided to try out the Holborn Dining Room which is a brasserie that is part of the hotel. The mixologist proceeds to make us a delicious tinto sour which became our favorite drink of this particular trip! We also tried out Scarfes bar which is also attached to the hotel and is a very popular & posh London hangout. We frequented both Holborn Dining Room & Scarfes several times during our stay as we just loved the atmosphere and excellent drinks and charcuterie. One of my favorite places within the hotel was the Mirror Room which has the most amazing breakfast and service I think I have ever had. The French Gentleman who took care of us both mornings was superb! I wish I could remember his name. I would advise anyone looking to stay here to google all three restaurants and you will see why they all have excellent reviews. Needless to say we shall return to the Rosewood soon!
