Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Cons: So far I'm satisfied with the stay.

Comfortable and convenient Stay

Posted Nov 2, 2016
Pros: It is conveniently located just off the main road and a short drive to Katoomba. It was clean and comfortable, and a good size for us 3 adults.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike. Served our requirements.
Location: its close to Katoomba and the Three Sisters & Scenic Route. The town centre was convenient for food with restaurants and cafes.

Pros: Location is good, access by car to the town centre is a doddle. Value for money was good.
Cons: Bathroom is small but this is a common theme in the industry.
Location: The hotel is next to the Katoomba town centre (1 min by car) which has cafes, supermarkets and interesting shops. Easy access to SCenic World by car.
The accomodation was functional and comfortable. The room was a good size however the bathroom is small as is usual. Overall the room and bathroom was clean. The hotel is situated near the main road but traffic noise is not disturbing. Its a constant background noise that a light sleeper can sleep through. Access to the town centre is excellent if you have a car. I would be More than happy to stay there again and I'm a very fussy tourist.

Last minute booking...business trip stay.

Posted Jun 23, 2016
Quite ordinary....in need of a fresh up. Being next to the highway it was pretty noisy with trucks and the odd airbrake flutter keeping one awake. There are better places for much the same.

Pleasant stay a long walk from town

Posted Mar 22, 2016
Location: The Hop On Hop Off bus is a good tour, and stops at many interesting places. There's a BYO pizza place along the main street that makes great pizza.
Katoomba was packed for a weekend concert, but we found a room at the BW. The directions on Google Maps was misleading, and we took about half an hour to figure out where and how to walk the 900 m from the train station to the hotel. The hotel is a long walk along not well marked street and path. The room smelled musty when we stepped in, but the air cleared with the window open and the heater on for about 20 min. The hotel manager was really helpful in assisting us figure out how to get to the train station when it was raining (use the Hop On - Hop Off bus, a brief walk). If you stay at the BW buy a ticket and the bus will do the scenic loop and can drop you off near the end of the route for a brief walk to the hotel. Also will pick you up to return to the station. The stay was pleasant. The room is on par with average motels in the US. For Katoomba, the motel is better than average.

Shower.

Posted Mar 12, 2016
Pros: Pleasant outlook. Convenient to local facilities.
Cons: Shower
Location:
Shower fluctuated from too hot to too cold - not pleasant. Were they also trying to conserve water?
