From the front porch swing to the luxury hot tub out back, everything about The Little Red Barn was built with a couples get-away in mind. A comfortable king size bed, with plump pillows and mood lighting sit directly in front of the large screen smart tv. Snuggle up and watch a movie in bed, or rotate the screen to enjoy it from the seating area equipped with mood lighting and throw blankets. Blue Ridge is perfect for enjoying a classy meal out, but this kitchen will make you want to buy groceries and stay in all week! Fully equipped to make anything from steaks to cupcakes, with all new appliances, a full-size fridge and a dishwasher for easy clean up. The kitchen also includes place settings and a farm house table for four. The bathroom houses the two-person sauna, a glass door, rainfall shower and extra soft towels. Plenty of vanity space, mirrors and lighting create the perfect environment to dress up for a date. Ceramic Tile Floors Heated throughout to keep it nice and Cozy. Also walking distance to The Farmhouse next door which can be rented seperatly at VRBO/1373103 THE AMENITIES Our front porch has an easy-to-light Napoleon grill, and seating to watch the occasional car pass on the road below, but our back porch is the ultimate evening retreat. String lights surround the porch to set the mood whether you’re enjoying the Artesian Elite hot tub or gathered by the stone fireplace. You can listen to the sounds of nature in the mountains, or drop down the projector screen and enjoy a show. Other comforts you’ll have access to include: Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu streaming apps – log into your own account for your personalized watch list. Coffee station with single brewing cups, creamer and sugar. WIFI and Smart Television to keep you connected. Remote controlled heat and air unit. Plenty of accessible outlets and USB ports in the living area and bedrooms for charging devices. Futon bed in seating area, in case you need to bring your young child along. THE LOCATION The Little Red Barn is situated just far enough from the main road to be secluded, but still convenient to groceries, restaurants, downtown and Lake Blue Ridge. Just over a mile to Ingles grocery store, about two miles to main street shopping and restaurants, and about two miles to Lake Blue Ridge. All of this close by and no four-wheel drive needed! If you’re visiting from further away and interested in the greater tristate area: Atlanta, GA is 2 hr. Chattanooga, TN is 1 hr. 40 min Asheville, NC is 2 hr. 30 min BLUE RIDGE, GA from the City Website https://www.cityofblueridgega.gov/ Named for the southern reach of the Appalachian Mountain Range that stretches into the area, the City of Blue Ridge boasts beautiful mountain views. With key water features, such as Lake Blue Ridge and the Toccoa River, Blue Ridge is the Trout Fishing Capital of Georgia. As well as being surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains and near the southern tip of the Appalachian Trail, the area draws tourists and outdoorsmen from all over. The downtown area boasts quaint shops and eclectic restaurants along with festivals and plenty of activities for residents and tourists all in a small-town setting. Tracks for the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway bisect the downtown area, with the Scenic Railway itself operating out of the town's historic 100-year-old Depot. Cozy and close to town. It is private, but not secluded. We were hoping for seclusion. On one side, you have a neighbor, and on the other a business yard. You are divided by a privacy fence, so not bad. Just not secluded. Heated floors were nice. The place was comfy and fairly quiet. Was hoping for a little more seclusion but was never bothered by any body around. The drive way was very steep and a little tricky with a big truck. Cleanliness was moderate, cob webs and minor things like stuff on walls. Rules were little unrealistic especially the smoking on the back porch. It was perfect! Close to downtown, the main highway, and a great supermarket, Ingels! The back patio with hot tub and projector was amazing. We spent a ton of time out there and it was very private. Wood wasn’t provided for the fireplace but Tractor Supply is down the road and you can buy a pack of wood for about 8\. 2 fire starter were provided above the fireplace. The heated floors and sauna was such a nice perk. And even in below freezing wind chills and single digit temps we stayed nice and warm inside. We ended up getting a good bit of snow and below freezing temps the day before we were schedule to leave. The owner was super responsive when we reached out because we were concerned about making it down the steep driveway due to ice. 2 bags of salt were on the porch when we arrived to the house. We used those and the owner came to clear the driveway with a mini snow plow and brought us an additional 2 bags of salt. We were able to get down the driveway without any problems. And the city did a great job with salt and sand to the main road. We made it out of town with no issues. We look forward to booking this house again. It really was beautiful and downtown Blue Ridge was super cute. Everyone in the town is very friendly. The cabin had everything I needed plus more. You can tell the host put a lot of thought into it. From the seasonings in the cabinet, to the jacuzzi and heated floors, they thought of EVERYTHING. Location was so convenient. Was very quiet, private and peaceful even though on a busy rd and near businesses and other homes. Wasnt aware we needed to supply our own firewood. This cabin is the perfect couple trip, cozy nights in with a movie and a fire, not to mention the hot tub and sauna.
