“Idyllic location and the cottage was exactly what we were looking for (woke up the first morning to an amazing view of the ocean and deer outside the window)! Clean and comfortable with so many great amenities. The hosts were fantastic with communication and we had such an amazing time there. A short but scenic drive to Lunenburg to be able to explore the harbour and see the Bluenose II, and try some great restaurants which was amazing.”

“Beautiful setting, very peaceful with lovely linens on the beds. The kitchen is fully stocked, the sitting room is comfortable and the outside decks are amazing. The little village of Chester was close by with a cozy pub offering live music on select nights and the local playhouse had local talent performing while we were there. We would stay again”

“We had a wonderful time. The trailer and outhouse were very clean and the view is breathtaking! The bed is VERY comfortable! My husband and I visited for my birthday and the very thoughtful hosts had a birthday cake waiting for me in the fridge!!!! We would definitely like to return. I saw many seals (I included a picture but it’s difficult to see it-they liked swimming just under the surface) and an eagle each day. Thanks for a great weekend!”

“This is a great whole home property that offers a lot of easy trip options. There is a super cute small downtown that is a good spot for breakfast / shopping. There is a grocery store super close to the house and the kitchen is well equipped for any meal. The home has no AC but did provide fans. “We enjoyed our 4 night stay at The Lodge. The ocean view and sunrises were awesome. The house was comfortable and had lots of room to hang out when we were not out checking out all the nearby attractions. Could maybe use a few more plates and cutlery along with dish towels which we could not find. All around a good first Vrbo experience. ”

Lovely hosts, gorgeous cozy property, comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, thoughtful information pack, board games in the cupboard, everything spotless, and in a great location within a few minutes walk of Lunenberg’s waterfront, shops and restaurants.
