Thank you Mark for the review.We are trying our best to be compatative with the resources we have at out disposal. I am aware of the ac/heater being loud and looking to get heating contractor come check it out. As soon as he gets time to take a look at it, it will be fixed.Regarding soap and shampoo, we use choice approved vendor to give the guest thin bar of soap instead of thick bar because once used for the day the soap is thrown to dumpster. We are doing our part of reducing the waste in landfill which affects our water system. I hope you see the point I am trying to make here. Our efforts are to reduce waste which affects us all one way or other. If you need extra soap/shampoo we are a phone call away.I hope to have answered all your issues and we hope that you will consider us again soon.Have a great day.

Average motel. States they are “pet friendly” but they are not. You will be charged $50 non refundable pet cleaning fee, and pets are not allowed on the beds. Owner lectured me for 15 minutes on all the rules and policies regarding pets. I had no choice but to take the lecture and sign an additional document confirming consent to be charged extra money and possibly more again after check out for repairs and additional cleaning time. “If I find dog hair on those beds, I will be charging you extra!” Do not bathe your dogs, pick up your dog poop! Don’t let the dogs chew on the furniture! Respect my property! The lecture went on and on and on. I was super tired and just wanted to get to the room and sleep. There was so many events going on around the area every motel was booked to max capacity. So we had no choice but to stay there. I couldn’t cancel or would be charged $150 cancellation fee. It was ridiculous! I think she knew we had no other options and couldn’t cancel. There was no other places open! I’m a responsible pet owner, I clean up after my little pug. She doesn’t chew on furniture or destroy motel rooms. We are good guests. We always respect people’s property. I resent having to listen to a 15 minute lecture about all the owners past problems with past guests and their pets. She just assumed we where going to cause damage and make an awful mess. So we paid $70 extra for pet deposits and non refundable cleaning fees. We had no choice!

I understand you were told of our pet policies and you did not like to be told. Many people do not do what they are supposed to do being responsible pet owners. We have to make sure you abide by our rules as other guests do not like dog hair on the bed hence we have to stress our policy. Also we charge 25/day non refundable pet fee. You stayed for 2 days that is why the pet fee charge was 50. Please check the pet fees before posting wrong information. As you said all other motels were booked because of the event in town. You booked a non cancellable reservation. Means if you cancel you would forfeit the room charge because we hold the room for you in the busy season. Also we did not ask you to take the reservation but you chose to stay here and that is not our fault. We take pride in our motel rooms that is why many of our guests prefer our Inn. I understand you will not be staying at our place in future which is OK. You wanted to cuddle your pet and had created lots of mess in our room. We should have charged you 250 for creating room mess but we did not. We have to enforce out rules for other guest needs as well.Manager Nik

Very uncomfortable bed. Bathtub sloped making it easy to lose your balance in the shower. Coffee(?) spilled down the back of the bathroom door and wall. Toilet leaked. In room, one soap, the size of a miniature candy bar for 2 people. Towels were old, small and stiff. There was cable TV and internet service. Able to park car outside of our room.

They appreciate the efforts we are putting in to reduce the effect on used soap in landfill and wish you would consider using thinner soap than thicker soap. Improper ventilation in the plumbing system, which made the toilet make noise off and on throughout the night, chairs dirty and stained, dusty, no hand soap, drapes faded, sloppy repair work.

Ventilation in pluming system? there is no ventilation.Chairs are just fine. That is how they look not dusty.Drapes are ok. You can always call if there are any missing items. All is well.

Okey. When you book online we sent out a message saying you need to call the property to let us know when you are arriving so we turn on ac in your room. The temperature outside is in 120 degrees. We can not leave the ac running in a room when there is no reservation. So if you book at last minute and do not call us how would we know your time of arrival. If you want cool rooms you need to do your part and can not expect us to know your mind. We go out of our way to give good service to our guest in this hot weather. However many of our guest appreciate our service and there will always be some exceptions which we have no control over.

Stayed at better motels in Mexico.
They say pet friendly , but they nickel and dime you to death, with a deposit to boot. I broken down in Blythe this was the closest to the mechanics, so I booked online for 2 nights not knowing what the mechanic would be able to do. The rooms are 80's vintage at best, so I stayed one night, I was able to get my truck back later evening. So I decided to sleep and get and early start. The dog walk area is next to a dumpster a dirt and rocky area with construction garbage everywhere. Not dog friendly at all. You can't walk into the office the owners are scared of Covid 19 and with a big yellow sign announcing it. They speak to you with a speaker in the glass night window even at mid day. They don't care about their customers at all and charged me a early check in fee of $30 bucks. The straw that broke the camels back was the shower early the next morning. The water was brown and the tub would not drain, I was disgusted and left!

We are a pet friendly hotel with 4 rooms assigned as pet friendly room. You came to check in at around 9.00AM telling us that you had reservation at marriot who mismanaged your reservation and was very angry and rude to us for no fault of us while we were trying to help you. Mind you, we did not asked you to stay at our inn but you chose to come and stay here. Besides you came at odd hours. Our check in time is 3 pm and expecting us to give you room that early at regular room rate. Now come on. You go to any other motel they always charge for early check in fee of minimum 50 but we charged you only 30. We do not nickel and dime you but charge what is a fair price for early check in. Other motels do not even let you check in but we were generous to you that we allowed a stranded person to settle down in the room. Yes, we are a motel built up in 80's and that is why we are remodeling whenever we have funds. Again you did not have to stay here but preferred to stay because your auto repair shop was next to our motel. Nothing wrong in speaking through the night window as covid-19 has not left the area and all is not clear yet. We care for our guest safety and our too. The brown water is city of blythe issue, who always does some work on the pipe line and once they are done they do not inform residents with work completion. So if there is a brown water all you had to do was let it run for few minutes and it clears out. Regarding the drain all you had to do was call us so we get the plumber or use the plunger to unclog it and this kind of cloging occurs in motel set up all the time so all you had to do was let us know and we take care of it or give you other room and that is not a big issue at all.

It was a last-minute reservation last week and was very stressful. When I booked the reservation I immediately got the confirmation email but I also received a separate email stating they were looking forward to our visit and if there was anything we needed in preparation, they even offered to set room temperature before arriving. When we arrived we were greeted at check in and management even met us at our room. We were asked to look around, HEATER WAS ON (which felt amazing) we were asked to check bathrooms, beds, tv. They were so accommodating and wanted to make sure we were satisfied with our room, which we were. Great stay. We will return.

Weren't allowed into the lobby. Kept pushing the nightbell, as instructed, and knocking on black window for service. Very frustrating trying to get checked in. Burned my hand on the door handle as it was in the sun at 113 degrees. My TV didn't work, only one station, a religious one. Called the office and she walked me thru the process, none of it was working. She said her husband would come down. That took awhile! He couldn't figure it out either, so moved me next door. TV worked. I returned key to first room and he said when the sun went down after dark, he would bring me the new room key! It was dark and I was wanting to go get something to eat so I called the office and he said I could come get the key on my way out. So he knew I was coming, and yet I had to experience the ringing of the doorbell and knocking on the window several times. Not friendly or accommodating. I didn't feel the room was clean, I didn't shower, use towels or even sleep on the sheets. I slept in my clothes on top of the comforter! There was no water in the pool, but don't think I would have used it anyway. I make trips back and forth from California to Arizona. Blythe is about halfway. On my return trip I stayed at a Best Western in Ehrenburg, AZ and was VERY satisfied. I would never recommend this Rodeway Inn unless they were to improve A LOT!!!

we are improving but as you may be aware of we are having manpower problem as every other business. We have a list of things to improve but no one wants to work. The temperature gets very hot in this town so if you do not have to travel please do not travel in this weather. It is very dangerous for your health.

UGH!!!
This place is so bad that Hotels.com should remove IMMEDIATELY. We were advised by the owners that there was no air conditioning for 1/2 hour in 100+ heat and no showers until after 7 PM due to water restrictions. Spent another 1/2 hour on phone with Hotels.com trying to get a refund. They did tell us we could get a refund and go somewhere else. This was late evening and other hotel down the street were sold out! Had to drive another hour + to find a room.

We are trying to improve our motel but are short handed at present and doing the best we can as a mom/pop operation. We are not very rich but are millionaires by heart. We try to help people and go extra mile always but we can not please everybody.

Hello Marla, It is unfortunate for you to have stayed at our place. Next time try to book at Hampton Inn instead. Oh also if you have couple of hundred thousand dollars that you can lend to me so I can make the motel look brand new again of your standards so you will be impressed. We keep the lobby door locked since we are not our of covid danger yet. Also you were checking out and there was no need for you to come inside the lobby. There is sign clearly posted on the door which you forgot to read. May be you need reading glasses. Also stick with the room review and no need for you to get on the personal side. The person was by barber who did not have any other time to come and he showed up when you were ready to check out. So your comment is totally unwarrented here. We would be happy to loose your business in future.

Check in was quick and friendly. Room was clean and quite comfortable. Always enjoy ground floor rooms. Nice quite, safe one night stay. Will probably stay here again on next trip to Quartzite.

This hotel is filthy. The shower curtain was old and dirty, the tub had a ring, the carpet stank, the furniture was falling apart and grossly dirty. "Clean" towels smelled and were stained, so were sheets. Could've run the heat or air because it stank. No ice. Overflowing trash bins in parking lot. The health department should shut this place down! Paid for 3 nites, left after 2. Couldn't stand it a minute more. The owners should be ashamed for what they charge. Its a dump!

Hello Mr. Thomas, I see you are very upset & hope U felt better by spewing your anger on the review. I will try to rebuff our responses on your allegations against us & our property such that you also know that what you experenced was not intentional & was beyond our control. As a good human being you should have came to me & talk to me of the issues you are facing & then you would have understood our situation with the maintenence issues rather than going on internet & spewing your anger to show to the whole world what kind of person you are. In this pandemic, as a good human we should be helping each other to survive & build good KARMA which is what you take with you But it seems like you came to our place with an agenda to destroy our business but GOD always helps good people. Without knowing our situation for the dumpster you were wishing that health department should shut our place down which is very biased and extreme one sided view. We are doing total remodeling of our rooms by replacing old furniture/beds with new SERTA mattresses, painting the rooms with eye pleasing colors, removing old carpet with laminate flooring & doing improvements wherever we can with the budget that we have as well as the help we get on the contractors. As you may be aware that due to covid, all of the businesses are suffering heavily on the human help such as maintenance/house keeping. It is a constant struggle for us to keep the business open with the limited funds that is available at our disposal. We had already completed renovations for our upstairs rooms & were ready to do the remodeling for the bottom rooms where your room was assigned to. We had to stop the renovation because of the Gem & Mineral show in town when we can not afford to have rooms taken out of order for renovation. This is the busiest time for all the moteliers in town & especially for us since we are a mom/pop small business without a huge backing or lot of money at our disposal. When we tookover this motel we were grandfathered in with a broken ICE machine & to repair that old machine was going to cost us $3K-5K while the new machine would cost us @10K As a manager of a business, I have to make a decision on what is needed the most right now & what is "good to have". In the cold wheather, how many guests would use ICE Machine? This is one question that we always think of & we came out with a strategy of getting ICE from next door dollar general to give it to guest which costs $2/bag. If you wanted to get the ice yourself we would have given you $2 to get it from them otherwise we could provide iCE & I believe you were given the ice that you needed but you chose to gripe about it anyways. Regarding the trash bin overflow, we had no control over it whatsoever, since the trash company also had shortcoming on the drivers who haul trash & as a result they could not come to pick up the garbage on scheduled date but rest assured the garbage was all tied down in plastic bags ready to be picked

Never Ever Again
This was the dirtiest nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Unfortunately I wound up here due to other rooms available in town due to the gem show. There is a stack of old mattresses outside in the “designated smoking area” by the pool right as you drive in. All of the towels are threadbare and yellow. Walls are filthy with mis-matched paint over huge patches on all walls Curtains are filthy and dusty Bathroom is dingy and all areas are unclean Carpet is ancient and filthy Furniture is cheap plywood faced style falling apart Linens for the bed are yellow stained Bed covers and blankets are filthy and thread bare The owners husband had a complete temper tantrum- outburst when I asked him to print me an extra key for my second guest. He got so mad at me that he said I can leave and he will cancel my reservation! Apparently he does not want to print extra keys because “guests constantly lose them” even though he charges $5 for a lost key. Not sure what that has to do with me but ok… This guy needs to be contained and stay in the back if he cannot handle customers without having a complete melt down.

We are remodeling our rooms and you can see some remodeled room picture that I have posted on Google photo section. We had upgraded our mattresses to brand new SERTA mattresses and the picture she posted were the beds of old mattresses waiting to be picked up for recycle. We are the nicest and caring managers that any guest can have. You can see what other guest has to say about us on Yelp and Google. This guest had some problems the day she checked in and took her anger on me saying unreasonable things. But that is OK I hope she felt better by spewing her anger and posting the pictures which we are going to be painting anyways once the Gem & Mineral shows is over. What really struck me was she had a booking for only one night and then she extended her stay by one more day. Now, any reasonable person who is not happy with our place or our service would not stay another day but here she did so. Hence all our review readers please be the judge of the mental condition of this guest. There is some problem here. Anyways, one less unhappy guest to serve in future. We are quite alright in loosing the business from this esteemed elite expedia guest. Hathi Challe Bazar, kutte bhokey Hazar Meaning Elephant is walking on the street when dogs keep on barking. Considering that we are in this pandemic for last 2 years we have managed to upgrade many of the old stuff with the new stuff. We are working almost everyday to upgrade our inn with the limited amount of money that we have at our disposal and I am happy to say that many of our guests who stayed at our inn and will be staying at our inn have seen the efforts that I am putting in to make it a better place than before. So do not judge our property as "Old and worn out" but soon you will be saying "Upgraded and very inviting with great value on ROI", you will see unless of course you are the kind of person who feels entitled. Then you should not stay at Rodeway Inn but rather stay at Ritz and pay big bucks.

This is one of the worst places I've ever stayed at. The towels were so dingy they didn't look clean. The water was brown. They said it was a city problem. The toilet was stained brown. To give them credit, I left my charger in the oom they offered to send it to me.

I am very surprised to see this review after we provided and looked after your needs. As you are saying terrible we also want to say you are a terrible attitude person and you have some work to do there. It is our experience as well that when we get booking from expedia it is going to be a crappy reservation. We do everything to make our guests happy but there are certain things which are beyond our control such as brown water in the pipe. We had told you that there was plumbing work done and it brings out the silt in the pipe when city does some work all you had to do was flush it few time and it clear out. But we can not please everyone. One less terrible attitude customer to serve. You can pick up your phone charger when you are passing through. Anyway God bless you and give you wisdom.

Not too bad. Was interrogated about the dogs I brought with me. I had booked a room with 2 beds. Me, 3 kids & 3 dogs. First they said 3 dogs was too much for the room, asked to see the dogs, asked if the dogs shed a lot, said no dogs allowed on beds and asked if I brought a dog bed. I just so happen to have one, & they insisted I use it. Just a weird check in experience but I’m sure that it’s because they’ve had bad experiences with travelers in the past.

Thank you for the review. Yes, we had too many bad experiences with guest not declaring that they have pets and if they did they would not clean up after their pets. You go to any motel they have restrictions on how many pets can be in one room at a time. We ask that guest bring dog bed for their dogs as we do not allow dogs to sleep with the guest on the bed as dogs shed the hair and some people are allergic to dog hair also our laundry machine has problems when too much dog hair gets in its exhaust so out of caution we ask all these questions. It is our motel and we have every right to ask these questions as we care for our guest. As you expect clean rooms when you check in we also expect reasonably clean rooms when you check out and having a dog in the room causes concern for us and that is why we ask these questions. So it should not be taken as a weird thing. Manager Nik

New carpeting freshened the room. However the ceiling paint in the bathroom is peeling, and the towels are small and thin. Coffee machine was inoperative.

Thank you for bringing it to our attention. I went to the room to check the coffee machine it was working fine regardless I had it replaced with a new coffee machine. Let the economy improve a bit once government stops giving away free money and people start working I surely will get the peeling paint fixed as I am short of maintenance people. I assure you though that it will be taken care off soon. Besides these astatic issues we are offering a comfortable bed to have a good night sleep and that is the most important aspect when you are traveling on I-10 and want to take break to have good sleep. Regarding the towels all it takes is a phone call to the front desk, housekeeper sometimes places the towels which are available in the laundry room as other towels are getting washed/dried. Hello Beatrice, Thank you for letting us know about the door handle, we are aware of the spring that is broken and have a work order to get it fixed but your safety was no way compromised as it is just the handle and not the entire lock. I was there to promptly help you open the door and explained to you how it is to be opened. I assure you It is not broken but a spring in the door lock had clipped off. It is just a matter of getting it fixed for which I have a work order in place and the technician will be changing all the locks in 2 weeks. There was absolutely no reason for you to feel unsafe as we have 24/7 camera monitoring for your safety. Also I had offered you different room but you were determined to get the refund back since one of your relative/friend did not come and you had reserved 2 rooms and wanted refund for one of the room since he did not come to motel. You had booked through Expedia and not by us so we are in no way to refund you on the last minute cancelation since you paid to Expedia and not us. We have a 24 hour cancelation policy in effect. you had to pay the penalty and you took out your anger of not getting the refund back by posting FUD about our property and giving us 2* for not even experiencing what we had to offer you. Great service
More expensive than other motels in town, but worth every penny. The managers Nik and Biju go overboard to help their guests and make your stay enjoyable. The place is quiet and there are restaurants, supermarkets and auto services within walking distance.

check in was fine. Immediately after unpacking discovered toilet was stopped up. Maintenance came and fixed. As far as amenities: the coffee maker was not clean. The glass carafe was dirty inside as was the coffee brewer where you place the individual coffee pack. no plastic liner for ice bucket. No ice machine . Went to office and manager returned with plastic ice tray of ice from his refrigerator. I expect better from Choice Hotel Group brand. Disappointing experience.

Thank you Mr. C K for your review and noting down what you experienced. We work very hard everyday to take care of motel issues as well as do improvements. Due to this pandemic lots of things have affected us which is beyond our control. We transitioned to Rodeway Inn & Suites on Jan 1'2020 and Covid hit us on March'1st 2020. Our business had dropped almost to 90% down on occupancy. The plans we had for making modifications such as replacing ICE machine were placed on hold indefinitely and Choice Hotels is not to be blamed for it but this pandemic itself. At present name of the game is to survive this pandemic and be helpful to each other in this difficult times and not be very picky about small things such as ICE machine. To get a new machine I will have to shell our 4 to 5000 dollars. How many people going to use ICE in this cold weather. Please be practical. Put yourself in our shoes and think how you would handle this pandemic. The toilet was clogged because the previous guest must have used too much tissue but didn't we take care of that by offering you the room next door for your business and getting it corrected by our maintenance right away? You seems to be very unforgiving and we need to help each other and not being so negative about small things. These kind of things happen in a motel environment and how we tackle and improvise the situation is more important. Regarding the coffee pot being not clean or the coffee place being dirty I have directed our housekeeper to make sure that the pot, carafe and the place where the coffee package is kept to be clean. I will be personally checking each and every room before letting the guest in to make sure everything is clean. I have many other duties as well but I will gladly add this another task to my list of things to do.

Hello Anonymous. We apologize for your experience at our Inn. Would you mind calling us and letting us know which room it was such that we can take further action on who the previous guest was in that room. All our rooms are non-smoking and unless we know which room it was how would we know. So kindly call us and let us know. Your identity will be safe. We give room on the condition that there will be no smoking in the room but people are people, they lie which we can not control only to charge them if we find out. Also it would have been beneficial to you as well to call our front desk right away to complain about the smoke smell and you waited till next day by writing this review which is kind of unfair to us too. But that is quite alright. It is what it is and we have to live with it. We work very hard to please our guest and we will take care of it always. Thank you for letting us know.

Wait for the Hilton to open
The motel is ready for a remodel. A/C unit in room was loud. The shower head was clogged with hard water deposits. However the bed was comfortable. There was only a partial roll of toilet paper, I had to go to the office to get another roll. One of the lights over the bathroom sink was burned out.

Thanks for your review. I apologize for the delay. The reason that you have to wait 20 minutes despite reservation is because when you book online with hotels.com you did not provide your home address information to them. When we get the booking reservation from hotel.com it says missing address and it only gives us your phone number. In our motel system we have to enter all the information of guest such as home address and your driver id. So you can see where the delay is. The delay is from your side...and not ours. If you have taken the time to give your address to the hotels.com then the check in process can be very quick. We just verify your address and voila we give you key to the room. So does that makes sense to you why it took some time? Next time if you want to check in quick alwaysdo your part as well that is provide your address etc information. Now regarding our motel we are definately not an ordinary hotel but I can say we are extra ordinary and better than many in this town. I understand that you may not stay at our motel because you think we are ordinary hotel and that is OK. We can not please everybody although we certainly try. It take s two to tango. Manager Nik

My stay at this Rodeway Inn in Blythe was a delightful treat. The owners were kind and gracious, they really went the extra mile to make me feel at home. The building itself is older, but the room was clean, well equipped, and surprisingly spacious. Great water pressure and there was plenty of hot water for my shower. The mattress was wonderful and felt like it might be brand new! I travel with a large ice chest and was impressed to find that the in-room fridge was large enough for all my snacks and drinks AND the fridge was COLD (the freezer in the fridge even worked!). I selected that hotel in the winter. The outside temperature was freezing. But when I arrived, the room was already nicely warmed up. I travel I-10 through that area regularly enough that I've already tried many of the hotels in both Blythe, CA and Quartzite, AZ. This one is a real winner and I will definitely be returning. My stay was quiet and restful. Thumbs UP.

This place is old and have definitely seen better days, and the cleaning could have been better. The room looked like the picture and had what we needed. But the service and can-do spirit of the couple that owns the place makes up for everything! We talked for the better part of an hour and these people are really working hard to keep their business and dream alive. These are the kind of places we should all stay at, instead of corporate hotel chains.

wouldnt reccomend this place
from the moment that i walked u the attitude was terrible, trying to check in became an interrogation around whether i smoked or not.... I didn't but the woman didn't care she was going continue to question whether i did or not. I got my two rooms assigned to me and when parking i could see the manager in the room i had been given, he then said that there was a change in plans and that i needed to get different room because there was toilet issue. so i looked into the room i could go into and the room wasn't fresh smelling nor looked clean the pillows didn't have plllow cases and the pillows were stained terribly, the response when we said it was " they are clean" we said there are no pillow cases, they can't possible be clean. he said he would go get some. at that point with the attitude of the woman and the lack of cleanliness i said that we would just find another place to stay. I didn't even care that the money had been paid. we went to the hampton inn and enjoyed our stay.

Hello Mr. Gilbert, I apologize for your inconvenience. When the woman at front desk asked you the question about if you want smoking room or non-smoking room, you had said that your friends will smoke outside. She was making sure that there is no need to smoke outside as we do have smoking rooms and were just making sure, were not doing any interrogation as you claim. We have a bad experience of people coming from expedia, who do not declare that they are smokers, which we find out later as they smoke in the non smoking room. The smokers do not take smoking room for some reason but ask us for non smoking room and then ruin our room by smoking in it. Of Course, there are penalties involved in such cases and she was trying to make sure that you will not get charged the penalties. You miss understood our niceness by claiming that you were interrogated, which you were not. I had gone to make sure your assigned room is cool enough and everything is in working order. I do that with every guest and you can see how other nice guests have appreciated our hospitality. Now, this is a motel run by mom/pop operators, who are working extremely hard in a covid-19 environment. We are trying our best to survive by offering best customer service with clean room and looking after guests needs. The rooms that were assigned to you were clean and when you say they were not, that is questionable. You had removed all the bedding to check and the yellow stains you claim are because of the hard water that we have from Colorado river which has high Iron content. We clean our bed sheets, pillows and covers every day when it is used by guest. I was right there where you could have pointed out to me any issue you had. However, I do apologize for the missing pillow covers, it was an oversight which was just a matter of getting the cover and placing it on which I had offered to change. There was no reason to get so upset about it. It happens in motel environment. You have to understand that and need to forgive especially when the management is cooperating with you. I know you would not recommend our place which is again quiet alright, If that makes you feel better. We work hard to please each of our guests but they are some which no matter how much we try, will never be happy. It is like a fingers on a palm they are not of same height. Believe me if I had couple of millions I would build a brand new motel and make it as good as Waldorf Astoria but I do not have that kind of money so I am doing the best I can be by renovating upgrading this motel and keeping it well to cater the needs of travel weary patrons by giving them choices such as you can pay higher per day at motel which are brand new places and pay almost half at our place with everything what the newer motel offers we offer as good as them or similar with the best customer service in town. I would give one advise to all travelers. Do not go by outside looks always see the inner beauty. Manager Nik

Can’t recommend—but nothing’s good in Blythe
Pros: Owner turned AC on before I got there (in 114 degree heat) Quiet building WiFi was fine No bedbugs Con: Room could have been cleaner (hairs in bathroom, stains on floor, etc) The door battery broke so I was locked out of my room—the owner got me in offered to switch me to another room, but I had already wiped down this one due to COVID—so for the last night of my stay, I didn’t have a way to leave the room and come back. I just propped the door open while I put everything in the car during check out.

Please understand that we are trying our best to stay up float in this crazy covid-19 pandemic and trying to offer best possible service as well as room to our guest with the limited resources that we have at our disposal. Everyone should be helping each other in this pandemic and I understand it is your privilege to say whatever you like to say but at the same time you need to understand that we are also human and not robots. We are doing our utmost to please our guest by offering good service and good rooms. Regarding the door lock battery issue... It is a battery which is going to run out of its juice so we just have to replace it with new and I was willing to do that which could have taken less than 5 minutes but you refused me to change the battery. Never take maintenance in your hand... as you said you propped open the door. We are just a call of few walks away, we could get you in the room with our master key. Anyways, have a blessed day. The person who works there treated me and my husband horrible cause we smoke and they could smell smoke they were freaked out about it. Not to meanchen They did not have TV That's right no cable it was shut off.and the room was filthy dirty. I paid $104 for this room with no TV or cable room was filthy and got harrssed by the person who checked us in about smoking. I will never stay there again And I will make sure to tell my friends to never stay there also.

Hello Anonymous on Travelocity. I remember you both and know who you are, you were smokers and wanted a non-smoking room. You were smoking in the non-smoking area right outside the rooms. We have posted signs there which said no smoking within 25 feet from the non-smoking rooms. You had violated our policy. Now, as a manager I have the responsibility to our non-smoking guest health. As you may know, 2nd hand smoke is more injurious to health of other non-smokers. I had facilitated your request to give you non-smoking room. Regarding the cable we had not shut off, there was a widespread outage from cable TV provider for which we had no control over and the cable TV service did came back on by 8pm or so but you just wants to blame us for which we have no control.. For a minute think about it why we would shut off the cable TV? would that be in our interest to do so? Please think before you write this kind of absurd comments. When you point a finger at somebody remember there are 3 fingers pointing at you. Regarding not staying here, it is your prerogative and we respect that, you have a choice to do so and let me tell you one thing it will be your and your friends loss. God bless you. Manager
