Worst hotel ever!

From the moment of checking in to checking out the experience was horrible. I waited for an hour to register to get a room that was dirty and disgusting. I complained and then I received another room which had no refrigerator and a cracked mirror. The Third room had no working toilet or phone. Finally I settled for the fourth room and when I opened the closet there was papers and a dead cockroach. Horrible. Stay away from this hotel!!!

Beautiful beach, everything else not so much

Pros: The room quality was good and appreciated the good air conditioning. The buffet was also very good. The beach was beautiful!
Cons: The condition of the pool. Vacation club people have got to go. They harassed you every single time they saw you even after repeating not interested.
Location: The location is beautiful, however really nothing to do in area outside of pricey tours. Not really safe to walk around the city by yourself.
I typically stay in other parts of the island so I wanted to experience Boca Chica after hearing great things about the beautiful beach. That part was very true. The beach was absolutely beautiful. However as far as the hotel for the price of the package could have been better. We did luck out and had working air conditioner, running water, shower, etc in the room. However the bed was super hard and there was very poor lighting. The food in the buffet was pretty good however, at the snack bar not good. We went to the pool one day and immediately returned to the beach. Did not like the pool at all, good size however needs to be cleaner. Also think that for the property size there should definitely be more bars situated between the two hotels. There was only 1 pool bar on our side of the hotel, and 1 at the beach. There was one on the second floor at the beach however only open one day we were there. Also feel as if more activities are needed outside of the beach. We literally had nothing to do one of the days we were there and just went to the room to watch TV. The casino was ok although we only saw it open one night in the evening. It just seemed the area was boring. DId not like the vacation club people harassing you every time they saw you. Not really an area where you can walk around local streets. Many locals bombarded the hotel on Saturday and Sunday on day passes and they overran every area. Did not like the environment. Sorry but I will not be returning to this hotel.

Poor condition room far away from the beach.

Pros: That was very close from the airport.
Cons: Be more specific when you make the room Offer or upgrade. when you get there they give to you what they have avaliable not what you already reserved.
Location: Too many construction around the area.
Very poor condition of the room, far away from the beach, buffette lunch facilities need to be more clean, Foods always the same, very poor night show. I been there many years ago and it wasnt like that. In general I got low quality for tne money that I paid.

It is a perfect spot as is close to Airport

Unfortunately I had rented 3 rooms which the cleaness was very poor, had issues with the keys to get inside the room

Terrible experience. Rooms dirty. No water in ba

Pros: nothing
Cons: everything
Location: We just slept and left the next morning early.
Bad experience. No water in the bathrooms. No lights in the rooms. Food is terrible.

No AC and could not get towels until 10:00 PM

Pros: Some staff members, location, food for the most part
Cons: Quality of drinks, facilities, management
Location: Located beachfront. Close to SDQ
I am a very positive person and I try to find the best in people, but short of saying that the Buffet Staff an most front desk people, specially Pio are great, I was very dissatisfied. When we arrived there were no towels. We had to wait until almost 10:00 PM. The AC repairman showed up at 11:00 to fix the AC. By 2:00 it had stopped working again. For 2 nights we could not sleep because the AC did not work. The room smelled really bad, the bed was uncomfortable and the pillow smelled nasty. Needless to say we left one night early. This Resort needs to work hard to be able to regain its former glory. It needs better Management and to empower its Front Desk people to make decisions that could ease some of its problems. The location is great , get to work in bringing attention to these serious matters.

The air conditioner was not working, the walls need paint, the floor looks in bad condition. Humidity odor in the room. I had to wait up to 2:00 am for them to change me from room!!

The room is sort of what I expected for the price.

Pros: What I liked most about the hotel was the staff. They were so polite and pleasant.
Cons: The rooms could be updated with the furniture, television and the little fridge.
Location: The location was great and convenient to the stores and other excursions.
The staff were excellent. The food was delicious.The grounds were beautiful. But the room was not so great. The key card to one of the rooms constantly would not work. I had to keep getting it reactivated. Also we had a phone in our room but no phone jack. So I had to keep walking upstairs to the other room to talk to my other family members. But overall I enjoyed my stay there.

Nightmare

The rooms were full of mold roaches sheets didn't fit Thought I was in hell Paid for internet and it didn't work They had to move us 3 x and then charged us an additional 180.00 Do not send anyone there
