This is a secluded resort with villas and bungalows connected by bumpy gravel roads. The reception is 15 min boat ride from Isla Colon, island where the airport is. During our stay the boat transfer was free mot of the day, as there were some issue with water supply at the resort. We were informed in a timely manner prior to our arrival that our accommodation will change from the bungalow on the top of the hill to a room in the villa a bit closer to the beach. The room and the villa were beautiful, with a great view of the beach, Caribbean and a small island just in front of the beach, which had a sign "for sale". Small diesel trucks were used to transport us to the reception, or the breakfast restaurant on the beach. The would come promptly and drive us like you are on the safari. It was fun, fortunately I already passed my kidney stones prior to this vacation. LOL. Due to this water problem restaurant was opened for breakfast only, so for food we ventured to Bocas del Toro little town as well as to 2 local bars at 2 hostels on the Bastimentos island which were serving very decent food and drinks really cheap. The weather was decent, not too much sun, so we could walk during the day and sit on the beach. It was windy and surf was high, so swimming wasn't an option. Our private villa infinity pool was an excellent replacement. There was a lot of construction going on within the resort and a lot of trucks and workers moving around. We felt safe to walk around the resort.

Our group stayed in four rooms over the Christmas holidays, and had a wonderful time. The staff went out of their way to look after us. We had bpoth the Casita Garden rooms and the Casita Ocean rooms and they were all very good.

The Accomodations were excellent. Rooms were better than the traveler pics I saw before booking. Sandra and Dave were like meeting old friends right from the start. A great remote B&B perfect for relaxing and unwinding with access to all Bocas has to offer only a cab or bus ride away. The breakfast was excellent as well. Within a 2 minute walk were two restaurants with full bar. Would recommend to all my friends.

These condos on Carenero Island in the Bocas Del Toro are modern & up-to-date with very nice balconies. The management is very pleasant to deal with. The problems we came across were that the air conditioners in both bedrooms did not operate correctly when we arrived. They fixed one of them the first night but the other could not be fixed until the next afternoon (late!). By that time the rooms were very hot. They really need air conditioners in the main part of the condo. Also, several other things needed fixing - the management should check these things BEFORE they put people into the unit! But, the condo had a beautiful view and it was easy to catch a water taxi at the end of the dock to go into Bocas itself. You will also want to find another beach to go to because this one has lots of seaweed and can smell bad.

Beautiful, peaceful setting. We loved every minute there.
Not close to town, but the beaches are beautiful and most of time we had the beach all to ourselves.
The restaurant is excellent and the breakfasts were amazing.
