Great place with a few small nigglesPosted Sep 30, 2014
Pros: Location is amazing and it is very well laid out. The rooms (aside from the mentioned) are great. The staff (with the exception of one) are great.
Cons: I have had to mention these above as no room to do it here.
Location: Bodrum is nearby if you want a larger place to shop but the Alkoclar is all about chilled out relaxation.
This is my 4th time at the Alkoclar hotel and whilst it is still a great place, there were some irritants this time that I had not experienced before. They are not huge and with a little effort could be corrected easily as they are pretty much linked to the same issue. Whilst I fully understand that when in Turkey, Turkish is the language spoken and having studied Turkish previously, I do have some understanding of the language and some vocab. However, the guides in the room are completely in Turkish and so instructions on how to use the air con, TV and CD player are all in Turkish. I am an intelligent person and as such can usually work out how to use appliances without guides but none of these appliances worked by using the remote without first having to use some of the buttons on the actual appliances which is not that obvious, but could be easily explained in the guide, if there was one!! We had to call people to the room to sort this out several times. The problem with niggles is it starts you thinking about other things that are small but still a little annoying but again, easily put right. The shower head leaves a lot to be desired. It probably just needs the lime scale removed for the water to flow out of the holes properly. We didn't report this as we had already had them out for all the afore mentioned issues. My last two moans relate to the safe which is positioned on the floor of the wardrobe which makes it quite awkward when using it all the time and the fridge.

Like Paradise!Posted Sep 13, 2014
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alkoclar! We were originally staying in Bodrum proper and hated it! This boutique hotel is quiet, incredibly well thought out with great staff and private beach. All of the food is included, the only thing extra are drinks.

Perfect settingPosted Jul 2, 2013
Pros: Perfect location and helpful, friendly staff. Great rooms and food too.
Cons: Towels on sunbeds never actually used by anyone - a towel policy could be introduced to alleviate this.
Location: Torba bay is very beautiful. It is closeenough to the airport and Bodrum to be convenient but not so close to be a nuisance.
A really superb hotel that I am reluctant to tell others about as I don't want it to get too popular in case I can't get a reservation when I want it! One aspect that combines something I like as well as something I don't is that there are few English people there (love that) but it also means that there are few English speaking staff (like that less). It wasn't a huge problem for us but we needed someone to speak to the car transfer company for us (who were also not English speakers) and this could have been very difficult without someone there to understand what I was asking them to do for me. The setting is almost perfect but there is also one other small downside - the towel situation on sunbeds placed before 8 in the morning, thus reserving the best sunbeds/sofas but then nobody actually ever using those they had placed towels on. I think there should be a policy introduced where reserved sunbeds without bodies are only held for certain periods after which they are then made available for those wishing to actually lay on them. Overall, it really is a fantastic place with friendly staff and great food.

Yemekler pek lezzetli ve doyurucu değildi. Personel profesyonel değil. Verilen parayı karşılamıyor. Akşam yemeğindeki canlı müzik güzeldi

Schickes kleines Boutique Hotel.Posted Jun 8, 2015

KLİMA on/off geçişlerinde anormal ses çıkartıyor.
