Great hotel with an amazing view from the bay

Pros: Facilities and food
Cons: Gyn could have a better AC system.
Location: Location is great, near to the center and marina.
Staff is professional and kind. Good facilities (e.g.: swimming pool) and an amazing view from Bodrum's bay.

False Advertising leading to Disappointment. :(

To say that I'm disappointed in this hotel would be an understatement: they advertised themeselves as several things they are not. For one, the description on this site says "on the beach". This is a flat out lie. The hotel is on top of a mountain. It also says "airport shuttle" and "local shuttle", both of which are also lies: there are no shuttles, unless you want to pay a taxi or rent a car. Oh, the hotel also offers a car service for 100 Euro - isn't that nice? The taxi costs 1/3 the price. They also advertise "coffee and tea in the lobby". There was none. In fact, I've never been in any hotel three stars or higher that doesn't have a coffee and tea station in the room. This one does not. And speaking of food, the dinner was horrible. I ordered a local dish made with strips of steak that were chewy and bland. But when we brought a bottle of water and a few sweets in from outside the hotel, they called our room and told us we can't bring in food from outside. It's frankly unbelievable to me. Two great things about this hotel: the rooms are big and nice. The beds are a bit too firm for my taste, but certainly they are comfortable. And, the view was spectacular. Since it's on top of the mountain, even the inside rooms have beautiful views. Neither of these things makes up for the fact that I expected something more than what I got from this hotel, and needless to say, I won't be staying there again.

This hotel was very pleasant but not a 5*. The food and drinks where however 5* prices . The spa ,although had 25% off for winter was very expensive a scrub & massage was over £90 ( that's with discount)which is what you would expect to pay in a top London hotel. We always have a Turkish bath and massage when traveling to Turkey which we frequently do but have never paid more than 60 euros in some very luxury places. Breakfast was Turkish but on the 2nd day we asked for a omelette which they were happy to oblige it would have been nice if they had volunteered a cooked breakfast and fresh orange juice which we also had to asked for. The staff are wonderful and we were happy with our stay but feel this hotel should be rated 4* With 4* prices. Fab views of Bodrum .
