Delightful details made it memorable

Posted Dec 19, 2016 on Hotels
The staff were wonderful. Coca tea, aromatic tea, and coffee were available in the lobby 24/7. The aromatic tea is FANTASTIC! One morning there was a wonderful classical guitarist serenading us at breakfast. It's special things like that that make a hotel stay memorable.

Charming hotel

Posted Dec 19, 2016
Pros: Staff support, Colombian charm.
Location: Location great to many local areas of interest, just a short walk to "Septima", the hub of many things to see.
All made easy and enjoyable by hotel staff. Nearby restaurants were terrific, especially Café Delitas--great food and on Saturday wonderful Colombian music with a darling sprite who danced to the rhythms. Museums interesting. Hotel breakfasts were wonderful--fresh eggs, fruit, café--yum.

Well placed for city centre and restaurants

Posted Oct 17, 2016 on Hotels
Interesting hotel an easy walk from the main square. The surroundings were a little worrying at first, especially as we were there during some political activity, but in fact it is a student area and safe with good restaurants. Friendly staff. Good value. Pleasant bar area but we left before breakfast

Oasis in busy neigbourhood

Posted Aug 29, 2016 on Hotels
Casa Deco is well positioned in the student quarter in the old town of Bogota, near the main cultural highlights of the city. The hotel is well-run, eco-friendly and provides a calm oasis in a somewhat noisy neighbourhood.

Walking distance to bus terminal, money exchange, turist attractions (Botero and Gold museum, Monserrate). Select interior rooms. Hotel staff is very attentive. Great breakfast. Wifi is a little slow in room but fine in lobby. Best option in La Candelaria is Casa Deco Hotel.

Best hotel in Bogota

This is a charming friendly hotel in a great location. We had had a travel emergency and the staff went overboard to help us. I plan to stay here again.
