Located in one of the best neighborhoods of Bogota, this is an older but well kept property. There are lovely courtyards and public areas, and free Colombian (of course!) coffee all day. At most places, breakfast is taken away the microsecond the service ends. The Hotel Casona del Patio served me breakfast anyway even though I was 15 minutes late. It's a reflection of the kind and attentive service. This isn't a five star hotel. It doesn't pretend to be. However, it's a solid option, and a solid value, with friendly and helpful service. I'd gladly return without hesitation.

Felt the area was very safe. Nice eating places nearby. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms do not have fridges which some sites claim.

Quaint and accessible but old and loud.
The place was really cute and in a house setting with a garden, close to everything. It was quaint and accessible. It tended to be loud on the ground floor with people walking above me on the noisy and old flooring. It was also cold.I would stay again but ask for the second floor.

It’s in a convenient location. Easy to reach from airport and not far from Zona T where entertainment is in Chapinero. The staff is very friendly. All Facilities are worn out (bedroom, common areas, bathroom). Barely warm water at shower, big issue at a city with mostly chilly temperatures. Breakfast is not self service and it works out very slow.

Good location, save neighborhood. We have to change rooms because first room with two beds. My tall husband didn’t fit, that room did it have heater and we were very cold in the night. Next day we moved to another room with heater and bigger bed without bed frame. It was better. Friendly staff.

Can use better quality control.
The location is excellent, the service is great, but the condition of the rooms can be better, and the beds, most of them had stains on the sheets. I had to move to a third room before we found decent unstained sheets. The hotel attendant was extremely embarrassed. I suggested to check the rooms before giving them.

I didn’t like anything - I want a refund or some sort of compensation. Their toilet didn’t work and staff didn’t speak English and it was overall a terrible experience.

Hotel is in a safe nice location near fancy and and less fancy but good restaurants. The rooms are threadbare, but spotlessly clean. Bring shampoo and hairdryer...not supplied. The rooms can use a space heater..they are cold,damp at this time of year. Breakfasts, while not lavish, are adequate. The hotel itself is cute and gardens are pretty. The staff, esp. Carlos, is magnificent, affable,and helpful

Convenient location near great restaurants/bars, approximately 20-30 min from La Candelaria by uber. Staff speaks limited English Breakfast very limited options and small portions, but one can easily find great breakfast nearby for <$3 USD Older facilities, had some issues with TV and little things, staff was responsive and would address issues quickly.

Cheap and super nice
Hotel is located in a beautiful area of Bogotá. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. They made us feel that they cared for us. Breakfast is fantastic. Tostadas a la francesa con papaya. And breakfast is included. Rooms are good size. Definitely will come back. 100% recommended.

My only complaint is that it was a bit noisy. Other then a bathroom malfunction, everything else was fine including the nice breakfast.

Hotel is in a very quiet neighborhood, it's in one of the financial areas of Bogota. Its near what they called "ZONA G" which is where you find all types of restaurants, nightclubs ect. Very well centered in the city and part of Northern Bogota. Excellent and very attentive Service.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Casona del Patio. The accommodations are simple and clean, but sufficient for all of our needs. The included breakfast was also above and beyond our expectations - completely substantial for the day and included delicious arepas.

Comfortable and enjoyable
I loved this place! Most of the reviews that I read were spot on. The neighborhood is great, the rooms are older but well-maintained, the water pressure isn't the best but serviceable (and you do have hot water) and the WiFi works well. This hotel really grew on me and I would definitely stay here again.

Inexpensive stay
We spend just a night on our way to Cartagena and one night back from there before returning home. The personnel is pleasant and helpful. the location is very safe and nice. the rooms are simple and the restroom is renewed with a good shower. One of the rooms had a strong smell of humidity and no heating. The second one had a portable heater. OK place to spend a night. The breakfast is a la carte and nothing special.

Worth the price
Excellent place for the price we paid, which was around $25/night. Hotel was on a quiet street very close to dozens of bars and restaurants. WiFi was decent and breakfast was passable. The bathroom was a little run down and the hot water pressure was very poor. Location and cost make it worthwhile though.

Nice Stay in Bogotá
The Hotel for me was in a perfect spot near the financial and gastronomic areas. It was a nice walk, (long), to down town but interesting and safe. The staff was great and the hotel was very cute. Good choices for breakfast as well.

Great time in Bogota
Loved the old brick home look of the hotel and the beautiful old home neighborhood in which it is located. The staff was welcoming and very accommodating. The front desk clerk let us leave our bags after check-out so we could go have fun without having to lug our bags with us. He helped us print our boarding passes and had a taxi there in minutes whenever we needed one. The hotel has a very cozy, home-like feel. Decent breakfast included and internet access just icing on the cake. Would stay there again.

Very nice neighbourhood
Nice hotel in a very safe neighbourhood. Plenty of eating options in Ghevre area, close to public transports. Unfortunately not a good breakfast.
