The hotel was convenient to Chapinero. The room was cleaned daily. There was no A/C unit in the room. When we initially arrived, the airport yellow taxi tried to charge a flat rate instead of using the metered rate. The person at the front desk was of no help. I paid the correct metered rate with extra 20 percent on top of that and left it there. Regarding the hotel breakfast, amazing inclusive breakfast options. Probably needs to be slightly more attentive to keeping things filled up until at least 15 minutes to the end of breakfast (juice, toast, and eggs). The maid did leave our room door open and I spoke with the front desk to just confirm with housekeeping that they make sure the door is closed after servicing the room. I'm not sure the hotel front desk took this seriously or if it was just a language barrier, but security did come up to the room to speak with us. Nothing was taken and just wanted to remind the housekeeping to make sure room doors are closed. We utilized the safe inside the rooms. The front desk person's English became much better after calling them again with security to help translate the concern. At check out, they had a different room number's room service check(s) posted to our room. The different room number was clearly posted on our bill. This was easily resolved with a statement on the bill and my signature beneath that. However, this shouldn't happen. Overall, I would consider selecting this hotel again when I return.
