Great little hotel

Posted Oct 12, 2017
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing.
Location: A whole city of things to do. You won't be bored.
I loved this hotel. It was right in the middle of an extremely cool city. Mountains visible to one side and the busy, bustling city on the other. The room was clean, good internet, hot water, spacious, and comfortable.

Cool little hotel.

Posted Oct 12, 2017
Pros: Clean rooms, hot water, lounge on the roof, good location, close to the water, quiet, safe.
Cons: They could pay a little more for more bandwidth if the company offers it.
Location: About 20minutes north of Miraflores. But close to a busy street where you can get anything you need, or just walk during the day and explore.
This was a very cool little hotel. Several sized rooms, no fridge, but very comfortable. Common areas for dining, lounging on the roof, etc. Very safe and gated access. It's located a little bit north of the more busy (and also the more touristy) parts of Lima (about 20minutes north of Miraflores because of traffic. A straight shot, no traffic, you could get there in maybe about 7 minutes, but there is never "no traffic"). I work from my computer so I NEED consistently good internet. The night I arrived the internet was terribly slow. So I had to find somewhere else and moved out the next day. However, when I tried again the next morning, the internet was working well. It seems to have been a bandwidth issue, but I cannot have times when I can't work because of internet issues. My work would fall apart. Apart from that, I really liked this little hotel. You definitely save money and it's a more private alternative to any hostels.

Hotel location was so so, but near some large streets. Room was comfortable and good TV. Unfortunately no hot water at night. Breakfast was good.

MUY BUENAS TARDES SEÑOR/RA: MUCHAS GRACIAS POR SU COMENTARIO, ESTAMOS CONTENTOS DE QUE HALLA ESTADO VISITANDO NUESTRO HOTEL, Y LE HALLA GUSTADO. LE PEDIMOS DISCULPAS, EL PROBLEMA QUE TUVO EL HOTEL, ES QUE EN ESOS DÍAS EL CALENTADOR, ESTABA MOLESTANDO, PERO YA ESTA REPARADO, Y NUESTROS HUÉSPEDES PUEDEN DISFRUTAR TODO EL DÍA DE AGUA CALIENTE EN EL HOTEL. ESTAMOS MEJORANDO SIEMPRE PARA NUESTROS HUÉSPEDES. CORDIALMENTE ADMINISTRACIÓN HOTEL LA SABANA

No hot water for shower.

Posted Dec 6, 2013
Pros: Lobby.
Cons: Inspected by their equivalent of the AAA.
Location: Three blocks down and on some of the side streets are cafe's for baked goods and orange juice and food carts. 10 minute walk to museums.
Left after the next day. Told problem would be fixed. No hot water for shower. Staff spoke no english. Luckily I was w/a friend who spoke spanish. Got a refund for remaining days MINUS 7% charge on my c.c. I am not fussy about old hotels, I stayed at Sahara in Vegas (now closed). Horrible reviews but I enjoyed staying there (5x). This hotel had a nice lobby and nice small room (no elevator-no problem for me). I ended up staying at the Hotel del Parque Superior. It reminded me of pre-Castro elegance. Old hotel, old shower head-but after 5 min. I had hot water w/nice water pressure. The staff were pleasant to me and my "mouth piece".

4Tage in Bogota...kurze Wege zu den Museen und der Altstadt! Die Septima ist sehr belebt und interessant.
