Nice small hotel in the North of Bogota
I stayed at Hotel Regency Suites La Feria with a friend for our first 2 nights in Columbia. The hotel is in a really quiet area in the North of Bogota which was nice. The rooms are really spacious with both a sofa section and a kitchen as well. The staff was amazing and would do anything for you to help with any questions or issues you had. Also the breakfast was way above our expectations.for the price we paid. Just be prepared that the hotel is a bit out of town so took us 45 minutes to walk into the centre. However as we are both walkers we didn't mind too much. In the evening there is quite a few restaurants in the area so we picked one called Imagine at the bottom of the Black Tower Hotel, which was really great and only 4 minutes walk from the hotel. One last thing the walls in this hotel are not thick - so you do hear it if any other guests are making noise during the night, where we were a bit unlucky but otherwise beds are really comfortable and we had a nice sleep.

The service al the lobby was oustanding! The room have faciliies as refrigerator, stove washer. My check in was on 10:00 pm for flight delay. I wish to have al least water in the refrigerator and some snacks to eat. The clothes washer supplies for the first cleaning was not available. The bed was orthopedic and a lot of noise from outside. The floor rugs was very dirty, needs replacement.

What I thought I booked was not what I got when I arrived. The amenities I was looking for were in another property and the room floor had stains. I ended up going to another place to stay. Very disappointed, still was charged 4 days stay out of 22 for only staying one night and paid extra for fiancé for 1 night also.

Good choice
Booked with the executive suite room. That room was on the top floor - 7th floor. Elevator goes to the 6th floor. This was no problem for me taking the stairs one flight, but just for information. The executive suite had a king bed and chair in the main room. The kitchen was on the covered balcony, through the sliding door. Nice, for some, but I changed to the junior suite after two nights because there was no desk or place to put my computer in the room, except in the kitchen on the balcony, but it was too bright there. The junior suite had a lot of room. A king bed with TV on one side, and a kitchen with countertop and chairs, plus a couch on the other side. The junior suites are on the 6th floor and are each in the corner, so there is a balcony that wraps around the corner with sliding doors from each side. The breakfast choices are minimal - cereal, juices, some fruit, and some a few hot choices. Eggs cooked as ordered. The area is relatively quiet but there was some construction ongoing in the area. Just a few blocks to the street with many restaurants and some bars.

Outstanding! This Apt/Hotel was every bit of what the photos show and more.. Great modern, very clean roomy rooms on quiet residential street (Elementary school down the street and near by construction can be a little noisy in the daytime, not bad though.) Easy walk to the US Embassy, Great Staff and service!! Free Breakfast was awesome and the waiter was the best! US Cable Shows and good wifi. Could not get any better for the price.. Felt like Luxury!

I called before hand And ask about the flooring in the rooms I have allergies my doctor recommended not to be around carpet because of all the dirt it can accumulate , they said that rooms where not carpet and that was a lie . They didn't care to accommodate me in another room or did anything. Since I already had paid I decided to give a chance I walk in and the carpet was dirty you can see the dirt, but I was so tired I just wanted to rest I Laid in the bed then my partner came to lay in the bed and his side the sheets were yellow and stain we had to call the front desk to ask them to change the sheets then they sent somebody to change them. The breakfast was so sad one fruit slice of bread coffee . They said buffet breakfast , I ask them to please reclean the room I even took a video of how dirty it was . I will never go back to this hotel. There's a lot to be desired.

The hotel is small and a bit off the main tourist zones which for me was perfect. The staff is small in line with the hotel but incrdibly attentive. The rooms are well set up and the bathroom was as awesome with strong hot water. The only recommendations would be put at least a chair on the balcony which would really add to the overll set up. Also having a mini kitchen with cookware but not providing plates/glasses/ forks ect seems pointless. You can get them by simply calling room service but not sure why they don't come standard with the kitchen. Apart from those 2 issues it was a great stay at a very reasonable price for what you get. Walking distance to both super market and lots of restaurants and great service

Terrible experience.
I booked this hotel and received a confirmation. Upon arrival, they told me it was fully booked and moved me to another hotel, which they said was better. Well, it was really bad. Then the following day, they still wouldn't give me the originally booked room, so I had to book myself in a different and distant hotel. To top it all, they didn't credit my Hotel.com Reward for the night I stayed with them. Avoid at all costs.

A wonderful hotel and great value for money.
The hotel could do with heated floors as stone tiles in Bogota get cold. The eleavator was out of order for a few hours which made transfering bags ackward. Otherwise, I love this hotel. I always stay here when arriving and leaving Bogota, sometimes my family join me and we stay a few extra days. The airport to hotel and back transfer is also excellent and almost the same price as a taxi. Much safer!

This one time
I stayed there this one time and there was no kitchenette or washer and dryer...like they said it would be in the room. Breakfast was tight too... All I got was eggs and bread. I don't think I'll stay here again if I'm going to pay that much money per night.... I could've stayed at the other place down the street and got a full breakfast along with a full kitchenette in my room. I didn't make a big deal out of it because it was only one night and I was going to my sisters house the next day.

I stay in Bogota on average one night a month. The timings of my flights in and out of Bogota mean that an overnight stay is often required. This is where I stay and always make use of the airport transfer.

The hotel was good for our needs. Had kitchenette,sperate living room divided by bathroom and closet from the bedroom with king size bed.TV only in the bedroom.very large patio but it looks in to another buildings top floor rooms.no privacy! Has express exito market very close by and some good restaurants also. Small breakfast in the mornings. Coffee and setting area with TV and computers in the lobby. Street parking out front but is easier to take a taxi. It can be hard to flag a taxi down at night you need to call them for pickup. Since it on back streets there is not a lot of road noise at night but planes make there turn very close buy and it can get noisy. It seemed to be most nights not all but being on the top floor you cannot miss it. Overall I stayed in worse places. An upgrade would be insulated windows! Nice staff they took care of us well.

We recommend this hotel because it is located and well maintained. The suites have a small cook-top, refrigerator, microwave and sink area with a wash machine. Excellent for couples or a single person.

Clean, safe but service needs improvement..
The greeting left a lot to be desired since the attendants seemed annoyed when I asked them to explain to me how to set the safety deposit box. They had rushed through the explanation and were more interested in telling me what I had to pay for when I arrived. They did little to secure tour assistance for me except to recommend a driver they know (and called to see if I wanted him as a driver and guide during my stay). I didn't have much of a choice because they didn't offer assistance with any other options. Fortunately, the driver was knowledgeable, cooperative and respectful and took me to most of the sites I asked him to drive me to. Unfortunately, relying on his services was far more expensive than what I have experienced when I've traveled before and the hotel staff has assisted me in securing tours or drivers that let me know ahead of time how much each excursion and trip will cost.

Very nice hotel with modern suites, (small apartments style). Suite with kitchen, refrigerator, washer in room, fast wifi, very nice bathroom, big shower with hot water, safe in room (very easy to use). Large bed with tons of pillows, flat screen TV, sofa and coffee table, work desk, small kitchen bar with 2 bar chairs, small balcony. Very helpful and friendly staff, they would call us taxi and would arrive in max. 5 minutes. It was getting a little cool at night and after asking, the staff brought us an electrical heater, which worked great and noise free. Hotel is located in a quite side street in residential neighborhood. They was just about to finish a construction behind the back of the hotel, so the back will be even more quite now. Hotel is located just 1 1/2 miles from US-Embassy and near Gran Estacion (modern shopping) and all reachable in a very short taxi ride, The only small minus at the Hotel was, that at breakfast you get coffee and orange juice, but either only eggs, or only toast-sandwich, or only cereal/granola is included, so me wanting to have eggs plus toast-sandwich plus cereal, always costed extra. (not much, but it surprised me) Overall and for this price, this was a very pleasant hotel and we very much enjoyed staying here. I hope this review was helpful and I wish you a great stay in Bogota.

i RESERVED A ROOM HERE AND IT WAS MY FIRST TRIP TO COLOMBIA I HAD TO SPEND 2 DAYS THEN PICK MY WIFE UP AT THE AIRPORT I WAS PICKED UP BY MY DAUGHTERS WHO LIVE FAR FROM THE AIRPORT SO I ASKED THEM IF THEY COULD STAY WITH ME THEY SAID NO YOU NEED TO PAY FOR ANOTHER ROOM AND CHARGED ME DOUBLE THE PRICE FOR THAT ROOM THIS IS NO WAY TO TREAT A CUSTOMER WHAT A RIP OFF !!!!!! THEN TO TOP IT OFF WE PICKED UP MY WIFE ON THE DAY WE WERE TO CHECK OUT AT 9 AM AND THEY WOULD NOT ALLOW HER TO COME UP TO OUR ROOMS TO HELP US PACK AND LEAVE UNLESS SHE PAID THEM $ 25 I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO MISTREATED IN MY LIFE BY ANY HOTEL HOW RUDE AND INCOSIDERATE SHE WAS NOT EVEN ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE LOBBY AREA WITHOUT PAYING THEM !! GREEDY AND RUDE !!!! I WILL NEVER EVER DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE AGAIN !!!!!!

Cleaner and Nicer than I expected
I only picked this location because it had the best reviews and I was visiting a friend in the southern part of the city and wanted to be closer to that. The neighborhood seemed relatively safe but the hotel is pretty far from all the tourist sites. The hotel room was amazing and clean, and the bathroom had great showers. The people were all very friendly but it definitely helps to know spanish because I saw another guest struggle.

Beautifully furnished and modern suites. New and well kept in a quiet area. Excellent for a short or longer stay. The discounted price was an excellent value. Was unable to contact the hotel upon arrival at the airport. No answer and the message also said the number had been changed but gave the same number I called. The Expedia site showed airport shuttle was included, however, hotel said that was only a special offer for last February and is not covered. I had to pay a $10 taxi fare to get there but the hotel did pay for my return cab fare after I questioned what was included. Other than that, a wonderful boutique hotel.

Hotel of preference in Bogota for Business
I stayed one night as I live in Barranquilla and had an early morning flight to Houston and then on to London the next day. I will certainly use this hotel again when travelling on business. An excellent hotel with excellent service and good value for money.

This is a very nice hotel, it's like an small apartment building and the rooms looks like little studio. The breakfast (included) was awesome, the service is great and people there were very kind. Taxis are available right away and is really close to a shopping center called La gran Estación. Very clean and modern decoration in the rooms.

The hotel is very noisy. My first stay was in the second floor and I could hear all the noise in the lobby by the staff and even the restaurant. My second stay I was given a room in the third floor which was located by some construction site... Being with my 3 year old toddler and having a long flight coming ahead, I was hoping to be able to sleep late in order to be rested for a long journey. Wrong. At 7am my little son and I, were waken up by heavy machinery and loud noise. I complained to the manager and although she apologized, did nothing to make it up considering the huge inconvenience this was for me. They would not even offer complementary coffee bags in the room (they made me pay for one I requested)... Not sure if I would go back to this property.
