The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. The girls at check in were all smiles. The heat was at 80 degrees when we got into our room we turned it off it was so hot! And then it proceeded to kick on every few minutes and blow out cold air despite being turned off. We attempted to turn the heat on when we were ready for bed but it would not work. We unplugged it so that it would stop kicking on and blowing out cold air. We bundled up and settled in for bed, about 2:30 in the morning we awoke because the room was getting pretty chilly and again attempted to turn on the heat but it just blew out cold air so we resorted to unplugging it again, so we did not get restful sleep as our room was not a comfortable tempature.

Pros: Very nice breakfast bar.
Breakfast bar bar allowed me to got on with my activities of the day.

We stay here once a month it provides everything we need. No issues yes they need to upgrade the bathrooms but it is clean and quiet.

Clean and comfortable

Pros: The price and it was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful.
Cons: The breakfast, dried out biscuits, and fake eggs patties, or whatever they where. If this hotel had a better breakfast, might draw more guest
Location: it was only a seven dollar ride to downtown for all the bars and restaurants.
Room was clean and comfortable.Stayed for one night. Had a nasty snow storm that day and they did have the area around the entrance removed of snow, but the parking lot wasn't. The TV in the room had issues, it had really dark picture quality and wasn't adjustable, and the reception was in and out and this could be from the storm. Like I said earlier, it had a couple issues, but the overall the stay was good.

Boise trip.

Visit was to see daughter, weather was unpresented for the days we were there with tons of snow and below temps, so stayed in at the Cottonwood Suites. Nice pool and hot tub. Free hot breakfast each day too. Staff is friendly and helpful, they helped make the stay easy. Amy is the night staff member who checked us in she was great, helped with what was in the area, but she was there when we were headed to the airport to leave, car battery was dead and she gave us a jump twice in below zero temp. She was our angel! Thank you Amy.

Not as advertised

The photos in the app made it look like it warranted the label "suites". It does not. It's pretty run down. One of the outside doors didn't lock, allowing anyone to access the interior. My carpet was wet from who knows what. And we had an emergency at home but when my wife called, staff said they had no record of my stay. And I had silenced my phone. My wife called several times, I was there, but they said I wasn't. Funny, I was billed for the stay.

Nice stay to enjoy the snow

The staff was wonderful and understanding, we had a very late check in, lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The room was so clean, and comfortable, great beds, we had a very nice view, and the Continental breakfast had so many options.

Pleasant staff

The staff was pleasant, but my traveling companion is a firefighter, and noticed the fire extinguishers were locked behind glass with no way to break the glass. We noticed two with that problem. We told them more than once and it took several days to fix this problem. Not important if there's no fire, deadly if there was.

Definitely shows its age but makes up in other way

With wood panels on some of the walls and Dark wood doors, this place looks like it's from the 70s. However, the staff is nice, they bake chocolate chip cookies for guests at evening, and the TV's are nice

Close to work.

Super friendly helpful staff, moved us rooms as soon as they realized a couple things needed fixed. Rooms were clean and ready. Breakfast was pretty good too, though their staff that does the breakfast weren't too friendly.
