Old and stinky

The check in staff looked as filthy as the hotel! Total disappointment! Would have been better off in the nastiest Motel 6.

An ok place to stay.

Pros: Breakfast and pool
Cons: Maintenance needs to be done on a regular schedule.
This is an old building that has been remodeled. Beds were fairly comfy. repairs to rooms were noticeable. Some things like hallway carpet and electrical is getting long in the tooth but still functional. Overall, it was OK. I would stay again if I got a good deal.

Clean, quiet and comfortable

Room was comfortable and clean for an overnight stay. We stayed at the beginning of our road trip and a second time when returning home.

Our bathroom was "slightly worn," but it was clean

Pros: Clean and comfortable.
Cons: It would be nice if the beautiful side was available to Expedia members.
The beds were very comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Room was clean. We were on the "Expedia" side of the hotel (parking lot view), we discovered, after seeing the beautiful back side w/ the lush lawn and river.

One night

First room we were given was still being cleaned. We had to go back to the front desk and get another room. All of the plug ins were being used accept one and that was no where near the table. That is uncalled for in the technology based world we live in. And you could only enter the build through the lobby door.

Pros: The staff was understanding and friendly.
Cons: The rooms need an overhaul. We were surprised to find cinder block walls in a king suite on the river front.
Thank you, Expedia, for being so easy to work with. When we arrived at this hotel, it was not in the condition we were expecting. We had a king suite. One wall was made of cinder block, the couch was ratty and torn, but the hardest part was the extreme cleaner smell. They allow pets to be in the room which we were not aware of upon booking. To cover up the pet smell, they use extreme cleaning solutions. So your room smells of wet dog/strong cleaning odors. We tried airing out our room but it just didn't clear the smell. We asked for a refund and found an alternate place to stay. Both Expedia and the hotel were very understanding and processed our refund quickly right there. It was so nice to have our frustrations heard and taken care of.

Misrepresented

Felt like the hotel misrepresented itself....would of spent less to be closer to downtown with comparable rooms.

Very nice staff but uncomfortable beds and the bath tub was unclean. Long hairs on the shower wall when we got there. I cleaned it myself before it was used.

Great location, but needs some work.

Pros: Front desk clerk was friendly. Love the trail right beside the property.

Great location on river trail, if not for that, I wouldn't recommend property. Light was dim in the hallway outside the room, didn't feel safe, and made it difficult to figure out the door lock. Trim was hanging inside the room. Toilet kept running, had to fuss with it to get it to stop. Railing on the balcony was very rough, plus there were hornets buzzing around the eaves. In its prime, this must have been a great place, but now it seems tired.

The hotel was nice. The breakfast was over cooked and dry. But there was a good selection of foods and drinks the staff was friendly and very helpful. it was easy to get from the hotel to some nice resultants.
