Very friendly staff, quick service

Check in process was quick and easy, very friendly staff. The parking lot was an ice rink and super sketchy. Granted Boise doesn't get that amount of snow hardly ever and snow removal was poor all over the city but this was bad, there wasn't much parking especially up close so we penguin shuffled quite a ways with suitcases. It appears all the closer spots were taken by people that didn't drive much or weren't there, based on the snow pile up on and around their vehicles. The lobby was clean, bright and welcoming. Our room was for handicapped folks so the front desk offered an alternate but we didn't really care so we took it. The pool and spa were out of order which was a bummer but fast forward to the next night had been fixed, thank goodness! It was in the single digits half the time we were there. The room was clean and roomy and had a flat screen, microwave, Keurig and mini fridge. The water pressure in the shower was low but the bathroom was set up well. The beds were comfortable and clean although there was no blanket, just a sheet and comforter .. and I'm scared of hotel comforters. The pillows were really squishy and both of us got neck aches because we are used to memory foam. There was a nice size desk and office chair. There were no USB ports to charge a phone .. I'm used to them being incorporated in the desk set up or the alarm clock so that was an inconvenience but I just went and bought a charger. Overall very nice place, would recommend & stay there again.
