Pros: Pet room with patio for access to grass was very good. Great music in the bar area. Food quality in the buffet and restaurant was very good.
Cons: My screen door didn't slide so I left it open. I was given the last room as far from the lobby as you could get.
Location: It was a good location for the Exposition center with several fast food restaurants close by. It rained so I didn't use the riverwalk.

Very nice motel with great staff!

Posted Oct 19, 2016
Pros: The accommodations were very good. The staff was excellent, especially in the restaurant. Loved...loved the Riverside bacon....very yummy!
Cons: The motel is very large and a little difficult to get around. Did get my exercise though.
Location: Very nice location. Wasn't able to experience all the outside activities, due to rain. But made the best of it, by visiting some local Brew Pubs.
A very enjoyable experience. I would stay at the Motel again.

So disappointing!!

Posted Oct 18, 2016
Pros: The giant bathtub and the warm chocolate chip cookies you get at check in
Cons: SO MUCH!!!!
Location: Greenbelt (USE THE BUDDY SYSTEM)
Just don't! For the price there are many other hotels that are cleaner, nicer, & definitely more comfortable!! The staff at the front desk were amazing! But then we went to our room. At first glance it was nice..dated..but nice. Then we walked in further. Bed was very uncomfortable, could feel every spring! The directory was disgusting!! There were boogers or good or something that caused the pages to stick together. The closet doors were broken. There were no glasses in room. Then we went to the riverside grill for dinner. WHAT A NIGHTMARE! The staff there were awful! The food was not good! The servers and chef etc were to busy standing around in their phones chit chatting! (The hotel manager did comp our meal) The hotel manager was so wonderful when we went to her with our complaints.

We are very glad to hear that the General Manager was able to address these issues. She will do everything she can to make sure the proper measures are taken and do a full investigation!

Great place for kids!

Posted Oct 17, 2016
Pros: Breakfast was amazing!
Cons: Whike most wait staff were very friendly, I stood in front of the inlet maker (only 1 in line) and he didn't even acknowledge me. I never got my omlet
Location: Nearby everything. Going to a BSU game? stay here and uber in to town.
Massive facility. Close to downtown. Fun things for kids to do inside and outside. Great breakfast- I mean full blown breakfast buffet all you can eat, included in the cost of the room!

Nice hotel next to the river walkway

Posted Oct 17, 2016
Had a great stay. Loved the free breakfast buffet. Was nice to be able to go for walks along the river. Winery next door as well as some great restaurants. Staff was so friendly, gave us warm chocolate chip cookie and treats for the dogs on checkin. Live music in the center lobby. We plan on staying there next year.

Our favorite place to stay in Boise

Posted Oct 13, 2016
Our 2nd Anniversary stay at the Riverside Hotel was again rewarded with a room upgrade to a Junior Suite. The room was spacious, clean , non-smoking and had a king sized bed, with a view of the pool. Included every morning is a hot breakfast. The staff is friendly and courteous and we love staying here. Across the bridge nearby is the Crab Shack and across the street is a Japanese restaurant. The Boise mall is about 3 miles away.

An old hotel that has cosmetic changes.

Posted Oct 13, 2016
Location: Basque area downtown had great food, ambiance, Euro feel. Walking distance of this hotel limited to river walk, Crab Shack and a Japanese steak house
Our room HVAC fan rattled all night long. This hotel is the reason you stick to larger chains when you are not familiar with the area. Their redeeming factors were an excellent breakfast buffet, and we had a nice river view room. Be ready to get up and fill your own coffee as the wait staff was not very attentive.

Very old room. Carpet looked like it hadn't been replaced in over 10 years. They kept the place clean, but for $180 a night I would try somewhere else.

Thank you for letting us know about your experience with us. The good news is, we are currently replacing the carpet in ALL guestrooms! Unfortunately, we haven't reached them all yet but do hope you come back to see the improvement.

Close to downtown

Posted Oct 10, 2016
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Property needs to be updated and and intense deep cleaning
Location: Next to the river and close to downtown.
The Lobby is nice and a little deceiving. When you come in to the lobby you get the impression that the rooms will be just as nice and that is not the case. The room was very dated, has old carpet and the room was not as clean as it should be, windows filthy, dusty, we caught 3 big spiders in the room. Hallway was dirty and has an odd scent. The staff was very nice and accommodating. This property could use some tender loving care and drastic updating.
