Great location. Small beds

Posted Aug 3, 2015
Loved the hotel and the park next to it. Close to all the attractions. Friendly staff. Rooms were a bit small but doable, but the beds definitely small and not for a long stay.

Fabulous Surpise

Posted Aug 2, 2015
Beautiful hotel close to the train station. The hotel staff were beyond amazing and the attention to detail was so thoughtful and beautiful (night candle let in our room, a very nice surprise to come back to after dinner). Breakfast was delicious and one of the best we had whilst travelling for 5 weeks through Europe (and we stayed in a lot of 3 and 4 star hotels). Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Worth every cent and more.

Nice hotel excellent location

Posted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: friendly staff and excellent location
Cons: maybe a few more places to put things in the bathroom and a towel rail near to the basin, very minor things. wall mirror in the bedroom would be nice
Location: most of the churches and shopping were right on the doorstep
the staff were all very friendly and helpful and our request to change our room for something a little larger, quickly accomplished. Reception provided lots of information for site seeing and shopping which was useful. very nice breakfast and delightful spot on the terrace for a light snack. we did not have dinner in the main restaurant as our visit was too short. however next time we will. all in all a VERY pleasant stay.

Friendly, 5-star service without pretension

Posted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff.
The staff were welcoming, friendly, capable and available. The hotel was pristine throughout. Breakfast was fabulous- fresh ricotta was a favorite. Rooms are compact but perfectly attended and efficient. They were also quiet, despite the hotel location in a busy urban setting. This was the unanimous favorite hotel among my family over a three week Italy tour.

Superb experience in every way

Posted Jun 18, 2015
Pros: Friendly and capable service by people who seemed to take pride in what they do.
Location: We loved Bologna- lots of restoration underway in city center, but shopping was great and people greeted us as welcome customer rather than a nuisance
Top quality service from check-in to recommendations to restaurant attention. No pretension or edge from the staff, who were attentive and thoughtful. Rooms were modern, well equipped, perfectly serviced and quiet. Not a lot of extra space, but comfortable and quiet despite urban location. We were three generations spread across four rooms with different needs and schedules. All agreed this was the best experience in our weeks of travel throughout Italy.

Brilliant city centre hotel

Posted Jun 18, 2015
We had a fantastic time in this hotel. It's in a good position central for everything and the staff could not have been more helpful and efficient. The room and bathroom was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable and most importantly effective air conditioning as the outside temperature was 35 degrees. We had dinner in the restaurant. The food was fabulous and the service wonderful. Overall a great experience and we would definitely stay there again if we were in Bologna

Excellent property

Posted Jun 17, 2015
Immediately greeted at front doors as our bags were whisked away and put on a cart before we made it to the front desk. Simone checked us in and he couldn't have been any nicer, professional and welcoming. So helpful that he spoke English and very well. Beautiful room but just a little small. High ceilings comfortable bed and a window that opened two ways looking over the street was perfect. They turned down the sheets each night while we were out. Please try the pasta there at the restaurant and the cafe was the best! They gave us a coupon for a free glass of wine too. They have bikes to rent for the day. You get so much for their nightly rate. Would stay again and I would absolutely recommend to my friends.

Quality hotel close to the city centre.

Posted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: The hotel has been modernised to a very high standard. Minimalistic in style, it still retains what must have been a glorious past.
Cons: Absolutely nothing
Location: Very close to the city centre and railway station. Site seeing, restaurants and shops all very near.
We found everything about this hotel superb. Quality staff, quality decor and quality rooms. A hotel not to be missed. From the moment that we arrived to start our holiday in Italy the staff were most helpful. The bedroom was large and modern with a superb walk in shower. The outstanding breakfast fare was taken in a fabulous restaurant, the room modern but has retained its original concept of opulent times gone bye, with a stage at one end and a minstrel gallery around three sides it had the feel of a music hall from the late 1800's but now dressed to be modern.
