Nice hotel in a good location

We were very happy with the hotel room. It was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Staff was very friendly too. I love being able to grab breakfast and take it up to the room, or get a cup of coffee when we get back from dinner. It's a plus to have Mel's Diner right next to it. Will definitely go back again.

Elevator problems

Pros: Pool.
Cons: Fix the elevator.
Location: Loved the restaurant the Fish House and the Safari Mini Golf.
Our stay was fine. Nice staff. Good breakfast. Loved the pool, especially in the evening. The elevator has problems, they know about it and it needs to be fixed. I was doing laundry one evening and our room was on the 3rd floor. The elevator never came. The lobby was packed with convention guests even though it was a late hour. The desk agent was alone and over whelmed with people. After waiting 20 minutes I started to head for the stairs with my multiple bags of laundry. That was when the desk agent caught me and told it needed to be rebooted. He did and it worked. The next morning, same thing when we needed to check out. We had luggage, small children and waited almost a 1/2 hour before taking the stairs. We told the front desk and the gal made a joke out of it. I did not appreciate that. I get it that walking down 3 sets of stairs is "a first world problem". But when you are carrying luggage and kids, that wasn't funny.

Not a bad hotel for the money. It's small but intimate. Mike at the front desk was extremely friendly, as were most employees we interacted with. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Only downside was there is only one elevator and it was constantly breaking down on us.

Greeted warmly by staff throughout my stay. Very accommodating. Property is kept clean and comfortable for all to enjoy. Would definetly return.

Great Hotel and Location

The only negative was the shower/tub. I slipped around a bit in it. A rubber mat of some sort would have been nice and made it a lot safer.

Very nice. Surprisingly clean although pets are allowed. No dog smell.

Everything was excellent. They could use a few more tables and seats for the breakfast area, or at least a better distribution.
