Hotel clean and staff nice. Great location to stay if you are going to Tweetsie Railroad or downtown Boone

overnight in boone

Pros: Very pretty and clean!
Cons: I didn't see anything!!
Location: Plenty of restaurants and things to do.
I stayed over night in Boone and was more than pleased with my experience at the Holiday Inn Express! The Hotel was very clean, comfortable and the staff was great. I really enjoyed staying there and will stay again.

Firm but comfortable mattress. Towels were not fluffy, they were big, soft & very absorbent. The breakfast provided was just okay, but it was included in the room charge. Everyone was pleasant. The heater worked but was noisy when it came on. The room was clean.

Nice hotel

Cons: Shortage of luggage carts.
Location: Peddlers steakhouse was across the street and food was excellent.
Large hotel, dining across from hotels, and complimentary breakfast.

The staff was very friendly. The room was nice. No microwave or no mini refrigerator in that room. Had three cracked tiles in the bathroom. Had small old, outdated desk - Not enough room for me to do my work (laptop and paperwork). :-(. But otherwise nice place. Great shopping and restaurant nearby.

This was my first time to stay in a hotel with my service dog. The staff were so kind and friendly. I thought all the rooms were standard with fridges and microwaves; that was not the case. The staff was so accomodating to change me to a room that did have a fridge so I would be able to put the dog food in the fridge and it not go bad. I will pay more attention next time. I really appreciated how nice the staff on duty were and the house keepers.
