Fresh and new. Comfortable beds and quiet! A/C was noisy but that was the only negative.

Terrific hotel and staff was very friendly. We had a problem with the drain in our bathtub but was fixed very promptly. The only drawback was the wifi did not work great on our room. Always had a weak signal. Had to go in the lobby to pick it up. Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel under repair

Pros: convenient
Cons: Quality should be improved
Due to water damage, the hotel was a mess. I was placed in a handicap room. Even though I did not request that. The room was sparsely furnished. Clearly not a comfortable place to relax or work. Noise from repairs continued until 8 PM.

I apologize for any inconvenience you suffered as a result of our water damage issue. If you did not request a handicapped room, I am sure that our front desk clerk assigned that one because it was an available King bedded room. It was not our intention to offend you. Thankfully we have recovered nicely from the water damage and are looking forward to a great summer.

Great location between Boone and Blowing Rock.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Boone water main was compromised while we were there so they gave us bottled water for our rooms. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Our heating unit was very noisy #307 and we had to turn it off while sleeping. Overall, it was good but I would want a different room because of the noisy unit.

We hope providing you with bottle water helped keep your thirst level down and allowed for in-room coffee via the new Keurig's in the guest rooms. I thought all the rooms had refrigerators and was disappointed when this room did not and, also, it was right at elevator.

I am sorry that you were disappointed that your room did not have a refrigerator. We do have them available in our upgraded room types and we should have given you that option when you checked in. We strive to accommodate any requests that a guest has and except on full house dates we would be happy to place you in a guest room away from the elevator if you request that at the time of your reservation. I hope that you will not let this deter you from visiting us again in the future.

Skiing

Great location about 6 miles away from Sugar Mountain. The hotel area is very convenient to restaurants and shopping.
