Enjoyed our stay, hotel very nice, food in the restaurant was delicious, friendly staff. The only down side was it was a little to remote for us, you definitely need a car to get about. If it is a chill out relaxing break your looking for, this hotel is perfect.

This hotel is a bit isolated but the views from the restaurant make up for it: younoverlook the river and the town below. The included breakfast is decadent and delicious. Super friendly staff, everything very professional.

Quality hotel with a view

Pros: Beautiful location. Excellent restaurant. Very helpful staff. A great place to stay whether you like golf, want to relax or get active.
Cons: Air conditioning. I was there during a heat spell in September. Perhaps the marketing can be updated for the inclusion of an in-room sauna.
Location: There are a lot of options available at the hotel. Spa, skeet shooting, bikes for rent with a ton of paths to choose from nearby.
This is a great option if your travels bring you to Boppard or the surrounding area (Koblenz, etc.). The restaurant is great for dinner or for the buffet breakfast. Great views overlooking the Rhine. Bonus if you like Gummi's - the hotel is owned by the family that runs Haribo - so you can get some memorabilia or discount candy! My only gripe is the lack of air conditioning can be punishing in July, August or early September. It makes up for it in charm though. I've stayed in other similar places that include a fan in the room. Might be a good idea here.

Lovely Hotel with Spectacular View

Pros: location, facilties, room
Cons: breakfast hours
Location: wine, hiking, touring, biking
We spent one evening at the hotel during the Boppard wine festival. Though we did not spend much time at the hotel, the facilities were wonderful and we would certainly return for a longer trip. The golf facilities were very close to the hotel and were in pristine condition. We stayed in one of the suites which was pretty much like having your own apartment, less a small kitchen. The bathroom had a sauna, which was wonderful. Our only complaint is that they really should extend their weekend breakfast hours to 11am as we are definitely late sleepers on weekends and ended up missing out on what appeared to be a lovely buffet breakfast.

Beautiful hotel close to Koblenz

Pros: The hotel is top notch. Enjoyed the nightly menu on offer and the included breakfast was also great.
Cons: The rooms are nice - but not luxurious or anything. Not really a slight here...but it is the only place I could really see improving.
Location: The hotel has excellent facilities. There are a ton of biking and walking paths. There is even a skeet shooting range.
This is a great hotel a few minutes outside of Koblenz / Boppard. Great staff, excellent food - amazing surroundings. The place has an affiliation and/or ownership with if gelatinous treats are your thing - they have all varieties at cheaper than grocery store prices.

Up-market golf hotel overlooking the Rhine

Pros: This was our first night travelling from the Hook of Holland, and we could not have asked for a pleasanter stay.
Cons: Nothing discernible on a one night stopover.
Location: Koblenz is an attractive city about 5 miles to the north, and Boppard, one of the most popular Rhine villages, about the same distance to the south.
We prefer to stay out of town centres, for optimal car parking, and the Jakobsberg is about 9km north of Boppard. It is accessed via a minor, winding road, which may be a little hard to find. The hotel complex is splendid, and well staffed. My wife enjoyed a swim in the excellent pool, and we had a large, quiet room overlooking the rear garden. The is an attractive chapel in the inner courtyard, with some distinctive decorative features. Visitors should make a point of seeing this. There is also a themed Africa corridor with interesting exhibits on display. We dined in Boppard itself, but breakfast at the Jakobsberg was substantial and varied. The price was reasonable for a hotel of this quality. We intend to re-visit when we can.

Beautiful Stay in Jakobsberg

Pros: Beautiful surroundings. Well maintained. Excellent attentive staff. Quality food.
Cons: The internet was spotty at best. I was on the second floor and i kept fighting with it...
Location: Biking, hiking, golf, spa...if you can't find something interesting to do is YOUR fault.
Great hotel. A reasonably short drive to Koblenz, Boppard and the various castles in the area. The staff is top notch. There is a complete spa and a lot of sports facilities. I rented a bike, went clay shooting...lots of options!

Peaceful location with beautiful views

Pros: Staff, location, restaurant, peace and quiet, pool, shower, forest walks, views
Cons: No air-con in our room which made it somewhat stuffy at night. We couldn't get our wi-fi to work but these were not major issues
Location: Ten minutes drive from beautiful Boppard, way marked walks all around, brilliant cycling, golf course,
This was the perfect place to recover after some tough times. The staff were delightful, our room and bathroom were superb (best shower ever!) and the restaurant was amazing. We loved the peace, the civilised ambience and the decor. Fantastic walks on your doorstep, great quality bikes available and a lovely pool. It was very hard to leave, but we did so with bodies and minds refreshed and with very very special memories. Many thanks to all for a wonderful stay.

Stunning views, beautiful hotel

Spent a couple of nights here and were very impressed. We had a top floor room overlooking the Rhine - simply stunning views. Facilities and staff were excellent. The fixtures, fittings and artwork around the hotel were a constant reminder that you were staying somewhere special. Breakfast quality and choice was the best we had on our 3 week euro trip. Our only concern when we arrived was the heat. It was over 30 deg C so we asked for an air conditioned room. We were told there we no rooms with air con, so we had to settle for a fan. With all 3 windows open, we managed to keep the room comfortably cool. The spa facilities were excellent. Overall, what a great hotel !
