Property really is beachfront. Not all rooms are, but nice bar area to watch sunset. Very walkable even though a little bit up the beach. They do state 24 hour desk but they said check in ends at 12. We still checked in , but not without worying for about 30 min.

Customer Service is excellent. Ann, Gretchen and the rest of their staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great and walking distance to the beach. plus they provided beach towels anytime you like to go swimming or just relaxing on the beach. Only one suggestion is to provide small refrigerator to each room. Overall our Boracay experience was excellent.

Staffs were amazing.
Our stay in Grand Blue beach hotel was amazing, the welcome drink was delicious, the rooms were spacious and smells fresh. They provided bottled water on the first day. The provided towels for shower and different towels for the beach which I like. The staffs were very helpful and friendly. I tried to borrow knife to cut my papaya but instead their staff pelled and sliced it place it on a plate.

Value stay in boracay
Great location in station 3, less crowded but still accessible to everything in boracay. Rooms were tiny and musty, but a decent value without breaking the bank. Breakfast was good!

Room was nice and its really good for two. Staff was also nice and breafast was good. If you're looking for a hotel away from noise then this will perfectly suit for you since nasa dulo na sya ng Station 3 😂 Pero kung gusto mo na mas malapit sa mga kainan at awrahan then recommended padn nmn tong hotel na to pero maglalakad ka ng kalayo layo para makapuntang station 1 or station 2, meron dn namng mga padyak pero presyo nila pang Grab 😂

Great location, on the beach and in a quiet area. Breakfast was included but we only ate at our hotel once (so many other options near by). Our 1st room was clean except for the bathroom. It had a horrible smell to it that actually made me physically sick one evening, ants all over the sink, floor, shower and walls. We asked to be moved the next day and was relocated across the garden within the hour. This room was great! No smelll or ants and very clean. The staff was exceptional and super friendly. Beach towels were given each day at the front desk. All staff were so friendly and helpful during our entire stay!

The room is very very small and the condition is quite out of imagination. The facuet doesn't work/water doesn't come out and the water drains very slow when I shower.

GREAT STAFF, GREAT LOCATION FOR THE VALUE!
The property was very comfortable as it didn't have the mass of tourists in the area as Station 1 and 2. Make sure you book the deluxe garden accommodations. The regular accommodation does not feel as safe as it is separated from the front desk where vendors separate the area that you are staying if you choose a standard. The deluxe and garden view categories would be the way to go. The staff is excellent. Louis and the other Front Desk staff were wonderful. The bartenders were great! The breakfast were included during your stay and they were pretty good. Not luxurious but totally edible and tasty. The only challenge was the many other tourists primarily the Chinese people who were quite noisy and rude as they had no respect by screaming on simple conversations amongst themselves. I think the only negative would be the tourists. The internet worked fine and altho some brownouts occurred it was quickly handled. For the price this property was fine. Its comfortable and clean and the staff were very accommodating.

Affordable Beachfront Hotel - Amazing stay
Simply amazing... An affordable beachfront hotel in quiet Station 3. The Hotel manager and Louis from the reception are brilliant. They made our trip special by giving us a garden room. We felt comfortable, safe and always welcome. The hotel has a lot of Asian tourist which can be loud and rude. But just ignore them and enjoy the beach, relax atmosphere and newly renovated greatly designed rooms. Thank you for making our trip special and memorable.

The hotel is located in Station 3 hence it is far from food stalls and bars.. If you are one of the party people then this is not a good place for you.. It is very near to the shore area and you can enjoy the beach as it not crowded as other stations.. The breakfast is good but with very limited choices.. If you are looking for a hotel that is cheap and peaceful at night then this is the right hotel for you.. Btw, it is near to 7-eleven so can easily buy things that are not available in the hotel like tissue and toothbrush/toothpaste..

Great location beach front property
Stay was great, only problem was they didn't have soap and shampoo in place when we arrived, had to request it. Overall stay was nice and comfortable. Love the fact that it was located right by the beach.

staffs are so friendly especially front desk guy named Mark. what i not feel cofortable is i have to get down everytime asking something to front. i thought i need phone. Hope expain us regarding facilities like how to use safety box that i could not open hot shower,do not change sheets, pillows and so on dairy for our staying. Maybe next!! but this room was really good mood.But the all staff have very goooood hospitality.

I'd rather have slept on the beach
We arrived at the hotel to be told we couldn't check in! This was 5.30 in the afternoon and we provided the reservation details,however their system didn't register this sale. 45 minutes later bingo mainilla office decided to answer. The staff lack training and discretion in these situations. The first room we were provided with was so terrible; the smell and then the mould that was almost dripping off the bathroom ceiling. We made them aware and the poor chap has to scurry next door to clean the room which was marginally better. After 90 minutes we gave up and accepted that this was terrible and no other option was available as we had already paid on line. We had to check out at 5am and asked for breakfast to be ready. Guess what happened??? Haha you can see where we are going again... The company who picked us up luckily had others to collect and managed to get our breakfast at 5.20am. One good thing only the breakfast :)

The staff was not very helpful at all almost seemed put off that we were there. The hotel is in a decent spot on the beach and near the city center. Beach front is not maintained very well, at all. There are some mediocre chairs out front.

Arwana is worth checking out!
This hotel is worth the price. While not high-end, we definitely enjoyed our stay here. The staff is beyond courteous and are always there to help.

We booked two rooms together (same price) about 2-3 months ahead. I called several times ahead to ask what kind of rooms will be given (unfortunately did not ask the names) I was informed we'd be given two beds & one couch. At arrival, we were given two rooms far away from each other. If you're one family, you would expect to be booked in rooms next to each other right? Also, the rooms were very different from each other. With one room only having one bed. The other room with two beds, had a weird lock where in you can be locked from the outside or inside and not the other way around. It meant I had to wake up the person inside the room to open the door late at night because it was locked from the inside. Rooms were infested with cockroaches!! Towels were very old and yellow-ish instead of white. Only great thing was the beachfront location and the breakfast and dinner inclusion although food was just alright. I don't think the low price was an excuse for such dirty rooms and the poor quality of food. It wouldn't cost much to improve. Staff were friendly and helpful although they may need more training. This is all a result of poor upper management and they need to make a change.

The entire stay was very disappointing. We book online goof for 4 pax but when we arrive in arwana the said resort told us that our booking was only good for 2 pax base on the voucher the they emailed me but prior to that we call the hotel to make sure if its really for 4 pax and they agreed. Day 1 they aircon was busted late in the evening n early in the afternoon we complain and they told us that there is a shortage so we said weve been here for vacation n this is what we got so they fix it Day 2 they transfered us in a family room which is good for 6 pax but since our booking was only good for 2 pax only 2 person is allowed to stay so be it and we paid for 1 extra bed which cost 700 with no free meals Day 3 the bowl was busted n the sink too. So all i can say is dont ever book in this hotel asside from very far, the service wasn't really good specially is specifiying the booking online matters.

this was my second time staying at this hotel. last time i arrived before the room was ready so i took a walk on the beach in my bathing suit with my baggage behind the counter. this time i stayed 4 nights with the hope of a friend in manila joining me which did not materialize. since i paid for 2 breakfasts i was able to enjoy 2 breakfasts twice. cheerful helpful staff. one remembered me probably due to my status as a clown does a little magic. the place is right on the beach with chairs reserved for guests. staff answered questions readily such as location of mall and long of a walk to reach it. they did a magnificent job in arranging my return to manila by signing me up for transfer for 350 pesos on classy van and boat and van to maticlan airport. i went on a safari for yogurt to help settle my stomach. first quest i found milk and corn flakes. the staff agreed to refrigerate the milk ovenight so i could mix it with flakes for my breakfast. i did find yogurt which helped. when i reached home i tried some pepto bismo pills which worked. thus i would recommend taking a small container of pb along. washing hands always a good way to avoid a stomach bug and i have no clue when and where i got it. there is no bathtub or pool which i knew in advance. better to spend the money on tours and culinary adventures.a good fun walk will take you most anywhere you need to go. had a few good chats with other guests during breakfast and on beach.

Very nice of staff to give us a room at a sister hotel (Estacio uno) which was a few step up nicer than arwana hotel but only for 1 room and 2 nights in replace for our 2 rooms 5 nights stay in arwana. (Better that none, I guess). Very run down hotel is what I can say about arwana, but staff was great!

Niece place just on the beach for good price.
Nice hotel for this price just by the beach. We had breakfast and dinner included - food was really good, however portion small and not a big menu to choose. Staff absolutely great and helpfull. We had room 103, on ground floor, big and spacious, but sometimes it was loud as room is next to main path leading to other guests houses at the back of Arwana.

Is a nice hotel with private beach but it's too far from Station 1 & 2. Overall it has all basic amenities in hotel room with big bathroom too.

The hotel is right on the beach, which is it's best attribute. No doubt some of the rooms are nicer we were put in the Arwana "Extension", at the back and to the side of the main hotel in the picture. The "standard" room was tiny and had no furniture, other than a double bed and a narrow bookcase. The bathroom was an okay size, but the instant hot water was luke warm, at best. The bed sheets were clean, but stained and didn't get changed, in 4 nights. The free breakfasts and dinners were great - some nice Filipino food, as well as some more western stuff. We got free use of beach towels and beach loungers. The water was clean, if you swam beyond the bright green algae. At night, noise from other guests and a power generator were obtrusive. The air con unit in the room was extremely noisey too. Station 3 is a quiter area, but it's quite a long walk to Stations 2 and 1. Shop around for food, drink and souvenirs, as there is a wide range of prices. Haggling is normal. We got an 800 piso hat down to 150.

basic beachfront hotel for reasonable price
Easy to book, responsive to guest queries online and on site. Easy to find, convenient location. Appreciate the breakfast and unli beach towels lent for free. Don't mind the boats parked out front. Needs an intercom system and some lounge chairs on the beach. Suggest free water bottle everyday.
