Kinda Gross... won't stay here again.
Just stopped in Bordeaux for a night on the way from Paris to Salamanca, and thought this looked like a comfortable affordable option for my family... it was not. The room smelled strongly of weed, and felt sparse and cold. The shower drain was clogged, and kitchen appliances like the water heater we unusably gross. The bed was comfortable enough for a comfortable sleep, but when we woke up in the morning, there were tiny ants crawling around on anything remotely sweet, including our toothbrushes and around the cap of our toothpaste.

Served the purpose I wanted for my stay.
The one lady on reception was really helpful and could speak English. The others on reception were not helpful and could not speak English. The property needs a good clean and needs a good paint. The Continental Breakfast included in my rate was great value for money. The rooms are not cleaned/serviced daily. The free toiletries was body wash only in the bathroom. You have to ask for extra towels and for loo paper if needed. There was sufficient parking.

This property does NOT have air conditioning and this was not noted in the Expedia booking. It was hot and only a weak fan was provided. This should’ve been noted explicitly in the booking. The dryer does not dry. Did four loads and it was still wet. The elevator was filthy and smelled really bad. The outside is also poorly maintained and the overval price was not worth it. It felt unsafe walking outside as well. There was no 24hr reception and had to wait to get a code to enter. I paid for the apartment as there were no other rooms available and it was very pricey for no air conditioning.

The receptionists were helpful and friendly. The parking great and very easy. As a female single traveller, when going out to grab some food in the evening a group of men at the front of the hotel made feel unsafe as they were playing really loud music and staring at me while walking pass them. It was given to me a single studio bedroom for me and my dog, unfortunately for what has been charged the standards did not match. The walls of the studio were filthy, there was X3 Spider webbs with x2 spiders leaving in it too. The AC is not working but they left a vent on there and it seems to be there for a while with the dust on top of it. The toiletries were not replaced on the last cleaning and ended up having a shower with no shower gel. The floor needs dusting and not just mopping as i was walking on dirt in the room and had to clean my feet before going to bed. The taps need a good rub too as they were filthy. The noise of the hotel was awful could hear people talking outside as if they were on my bedroom and i was on the first floor, there was other guests making noise after 11pm, some playing really loud music, others with kids crying and others what it seemed cooking past midnight. Although the bed sheets were replaced.

Basic place, only for a one night stay. Very far from the city. Paid £70 for return taxi to city so not cheap. Would suggest to find somewhere nearer to amenities.

Very, very bad experience
Dreadful. Bed was rock hard so could not sleep. Nobody at reception overnight so could not complain. Next morning we complained and asked to be moved to another room. When we returned in the evening, the message had not been relayed to the evening staff and they knew nothing about it. They eventually found us another room. This room, however, was dirty and smelled badly of smoke. There were bugs all over the furniture. We asked for a refund and was told to claim through Hotels.com. Unfortunately the telephone number for your website was out of service, so with no other option, we left the hotel and slept in our car.

Rather run down area of the lac, but covered secure parking and room spotless. Bed rather too firm for my liking! 10 minute walk to restaurants and tram to town. Ideal stop over. Breakfast a bit pricey compared to room rate.

This is a trucker/ transient stop. Cigarette smoke 24/7 - it filled our non smoking room, no a/c, sofa bed was probably from the 70s with stains on it (unsure last time it was cleaned) and super thin and uncomfortable! We left with a number of bug bites and left as quick as we could. Front staff was lovely.

The hotel/apartments are ok, the price is cheap for the area so you have to adjust your expectations. Room was hot as summertime and no a/c, but a fan was supplied in the room. If you are travelling through or in a budget, it’s ok for a night. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the gym looked good, but we did not use it as only staying for 1 night while passing through.

Literally stayed 5mins and checked out, when we pulled up there were many people in the car park some of whom were praying and as they kept watching us it felt very unsafe. The property stunk of smelly fish from the ground floor up and our room was directly next to a room undergoing refurbishment so the sound of loud drilling was so bad it was like they were on the room with you. Very basic room.

There was a problem with their system and although they had received confirmation of our booking and payment, it was 45 miinuts before we had the key to our apartment. It was noisy and permeated by cigarette smoke from the corridor and garden. The bathroom was full of mold and the toilet seat was broken with an old key card in the pan. So obviously not touched but the chambermaid. The bed linen was clean and comfortable. The flat was old and tired. Do not book this place as it doesn't even warrant 1 star!

My experience was really bad, the accommodation is not good, furniture is not good, dirty dishes … also on my last day, check out was at 12:00, the cleaner started knocking at my door from 9:00 and they came 5 times disturbing my sleep between 9:00-12:00… very very unhappy about thw stay.

Useful accommodation
It’s a good place to stay to visit Bordeaux on a budget. It doesn’t feel particularly safe outside, 2 blokes wondering separately around. Either they were plain clothes security, punters or pimps. I would stay here again but we’ll go everywhere with my car.

Great stay

Too hot for baby
Make sure you check to see if rooms have climate controls, the temperature outside was 40+°c and inside the room was not much cooler. There was no fan. We had to take cold baths to keep cool but when we saw our baby (1month old) sweating, we knew it was better to be in our car than a hot box.

good for the helpdesk they arranged a late check in, the blankets though smelled at tobacco that was the only bad point

Fine for the price. Only used it as a one night stop over. The room can certainly do with a freshen up, which does seem to be happening as there was work being carried out on the building. There were dining options 5-10 mins away, although these are soulless chain restaurants.

Hotel looks great on pictures but actual conditions are horrible. We were 4 couples travelling together and all of us were horrified. The hotel is dimly lit, the carpets are old and stained, the walls are scraped, the furniture are all banged up. It is like a bad dream
