This property was difficult to get to by car but once we were there it was in an excellent part of the city! And we slept quite comfortably even though the room was small!

Weekend in Bordeaux
Firstly the location of the hotel is brilliant, literally a street behind the main square/shopping area. The rooms are compact (its France!) but well equipped and comfortable. Huge modern bathroom which was a plus. However the standout from the stay was the staff - from check in, to leaving they couldn't have been more helpful and nice. Highly recommend!

This property offers the perfect location, within walking distance of most of the highlights Bordeaux center has to offer. It's quiet, clean, with friendly staff and a nice breakfast to start the day. One particular staff member, Emilie, deserves special mention for providing exceptional dinner suggestions. All of them were outstanding; she even went to the effort of securing a reservation and following up with us after our meal. This level of personal attention and service sets this hotel apart from many others we stayed at during our vacation.

The room was very small. They should provide a second luggage rack for two travelers. It was difficult to get into shower. Hand rails would be improvement for safety. Room was clean and comfortable.

We were very stressed driving around Bordeaux trying to find the hotel with our less than useful GPS! We called the hotel in desperation and they were patient and helpful guiding us there! Once arrived, we found the location perfect; staff gracious; and room clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Great Location
The hotel is centrally located and is very clean. There are 2 separate buildings so make sure you know which one you need to go to. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The location of the hotel is wonderful. Because it is small, there is no porter to help with luggage although the front desk person helped when we checked in but wasn’t available for check out. Loved the hotel overall.

Good but could easily be great with a tweak
Very central convenient location, newly renovated. Loved having a bathtub, bed was firm but comfortable. Very quiet stay. We were unfortunately assigned a room in the annex so the restaurant, lounge and gym were located in the main building around the corner. Also, reception was until 10pm after which time you had to ring a buzzer and have the receptionist from the main building let you in. If this matters to you, I’d suggest requesting a room in the main building. I wish we had known this because we didn’t get a 4star hotel experience - not that our room wasn’t perfectly pleasant or comfortable - just that it felt more like a nice 2star without those services on site.

You stayed in the "Etche-Ona" house.Both of them have a welcome desk, a lounge, a breakfast room (no restaurant in our hotel). Indeed the fitness room is located in the "Bayonne" house but all our guests have of course access to it with their room key.Night time (from 11pm to 6am) is managed by the "Bayonne" but our staff still remains at your entire disposal for anything you may need.We will be happy to welcome you again so you can discover the "Bayonne" part .We wish you great winter holidays,Best regards,Chloé, The Welcome Desk Manager

The Bayonne Etche Ona is very centrally located and is within walking distance to many of the attractions located within the historic area of Bordeaux. Tram lines are just a few steps away. The room was very clean and the staff was helpful. The only criticism I could offer was that they didn't have umbrellas to offer when it was raining.
