I spent 7 nights at Hôtel de Sèze and found the hotel to be perfect for my first solo travel visit of Bordeaux. It was located within the city center where everything was a convenient walking distance way. The staff were very professional and accommodating and happy to make recommendations for different restaurants and activities. The restaurant was superb, and most of all, the room was fabulous in every sense which made for an overall excellent stay.

My husband and I had a perfect stay at Hotel Seze. It felt clean, safe and luxurious. The staff and housekeeping did an excellent job. It was in a perfect location to get to know the area. We loved the cigar room. I think the only thing that could make the stay better would be to get a room with a bath. Thank you Hotel Seze and Expedia!

Cute hotel however it lacked management. The concierge was helpful however the team seamed a little lost. We had breakfast included and the food was average at best. On our last day we couldn’t even eat because the kitchen wasn’t ready for the people coming to the restaurant, so we only had coffee and bread. The fire alarm went off without warning us and apparently this was planned that they were testing the system. The room was nice, a good size and centralized location

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Bordeaux. Shopping is conveniently nearby. Staff is friendly and attentive and the room was clean.

A very well presented, understated, centrally located hotel. Our second visit, so they must be doing something right. Comfortable beds, a very good bathroom and efficient aircon. Despite being very central it was also nice and quiet.

The restaurant kept closing at random times without notice. Staff were dismissive to the point of rudeness. The room was clean and neat and the air conditioning worked well in 35 degrees heat.

Great Location, but our room was very dark, and small. I was a bit disappointed. The only other room I was shown, was by the lift, which was just as small, and apparently noisy. I have a mobility scooter, which folds down, but steps to our room made it véry difficult to get to the room. The staff member clearly saw this, and didn’t have any suggestions. I didn’t realise that you had to pay €40.00 to access the spa!! As the steam room was out of action, that left just a sauna! Rather steep. We also asked him about how long we could park with our uk blue badge on the disabled space. He said he didn’t know, and didn’t make any attempt to find out. I found this rather unhelpful. The manager told me he knew I was unhappy, but couldn’t offer anything. This all sounds as though I’m very picky, but generally we find everyone extremely helpful in our travels around France.

Perfect location in Bordeaux
We were greeted by welcoming staff & provided recommendations for a late dinner. Our Suite (Millesime), although cozy, was spotless, the bed super comfy & quiet. It is a quick walk to amazing restaurants & bars as well as lovely neighborhoods. We enjoyed the ample breakfast buffet. A plus, catching the bus to Saint-Emilion right around the corner. Would definitely stay again!

Great stay. One thing to note, access to the spa is not included. It is an additional €40 I think. We tried to book a treatment the day we arrived and it was sold out so I’d advise to book in advance

Cute hotel
It was a very nicely located hotel. Our room wasn't too sound proof but was comfortable in general. We were looking forward to the breakfast based on the previous reviews, but it was not worth the extra money. There are many nice coffee shops nearby where you can get amazing coffee and pastries.

Hotel location is great, close to main attractions. Service was helpful. Room was spacious for 2 and there was no noise at all. A very comfortable hotel and would be happy to recommend

Great location, friendly and very helpful staff, clean and quiet. We e had 3 twin rooms all the same price but only one room was a good size, very bright with a good view. The 2 other rooms were very small with no view which is fine for an overnight stay but any longer it would seem overpriced

Wc outside of the bathroom is not a good solution. Take out the bathtub and gain space. If you have a wc you need a place to clean your hands. Think about it. Shower is good.

Beautiful hotel - staff was very nice. Parking was across the street so very easy to use (public lot). Easy to walk to the old city, the waterfront and very close to transit station to visit further locations. When we arrived they had upgraded our room to a suite with a balcony - wonderful surprise! Highly recommend.

Fabulous location! It’s just across a park from downtown/old town so you are not part of the crowds- you can breath. Five minute walk to the promenade along the river. Lovely French decor which made the trip extra special. Very spacious bathroom. This is so illogical…I don’t understand why the European hotels have an open shower concept. I had water all over the floor and nearly slipped - its mind boggling why not connect the shower doors to enclose. Had to use my large towels to clean up the water after every shower no matter how much I tried to contain the water. Barbara, Julia, Sarah and Caglar were super kind and incredibly helpful. Super staff. I couldn’t have made a better choice!

Although it is a reasonably large hotel with a lot of facilities the atmosphere given to it by the staff is that of a smaller intimate hotel. We have stayed there five or six times now and always enjoyed it.
