Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. "What a lovely cabin! Our family of 6 fit comfortably here. This was a perfect base for exploring the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and Silver Circle attractions. We loved the added benefit of the hot tub and having a clean, comfortable spot to relax that had clear views of the sky. The host was extremely helpful communicating back and forth. We did have a 4WD vehicle, but I don't expect one would be necessary to get to the cabin except after heavy snow. We'd stay here again."
