Luxurious hotel near Boston's North End

Pros: Rooms more nicely decorated than pictures on website, and well maintained.
Cons: Coffee machine in room would be nice.
Great, spacious rooms with good views. We went over the holiday season and the decorations were beautiful, nicest (nautically themed) Christmas tree I've ever seen in a public place. Great location, near the aquarium and Quincy Mkt as well as North End. Sea Grille restaurant pleasant at lunch, if unremarkable. Staff uniformly kind, helpful, and eager to please.

Great hotel close to many attractions & great food

Pros: Ice skating @ hotel was great! Indoor pool and whirlpool are perfect (they even line the pool decks to minimize slipping). Hotel gym =very clean.
Cons: Buffet breakfast could be a little b/c pricy, but service is great. The pillows could be better - wish I brought my own. Elevators are old.
Location: It was in walking distance to many restaurants & attractions including Quincy Market, Trade (restaurant), Granary Tavern, the Boston Tea Party Museum
We stayed here for the first time ( we usually stay in Cambridge or the Lenox). Our room was upgraded to a harbor view, which was beautiful.

A winter getaway is the best when you can go ice skating, swim in an indoor heated pool and enjoy the beautiful harbor views right from your guest room! However, we regret that you were disappointed with our pillow selection and our breakfast rate. We love to welcome you back for another fun visit!

Great rooms - beautiful views

Pros: The high standard of accommodation - excellent staff.
Location: On the harbor - close to the ICA and a selection of great restaurants.
Just a quick one night stay but everything was perfect.

Harbor view room was wonderful.

Check-in was very easy and very fast. Absolutely everyone working there offered assistance to make sure you were taken care of. The doorman was exceptional noting an issue with my car beyond the call of duty. All made the visit wonderful. I'll be returning.

Fabulous staff is great exercise pool great. Food service great I cannot say that I have been treated better at any facility

Always a great place to stay

Cons: Decour is becoming a little stayed but its fine. We did have some issues with heating in the room but nothing serious.
When in Boston this is our favourite bolt hole. The hotel is comfortable and the staff endearing the food is excellent and you are short walk or Taxi ride from town. Love it.

Noise

Cons: Again, noise.
The only complaint is that there is some sort of a hotel storage room next to the room where we stayed and very loud noises started before 7am. This was truly unfortunate, having a lovely harbor view and paying for the view and to be able to enjoy it only to be woken up by the sounds of items being dragged across the floor and dropped. For the reputation of the hotel and the cost of the room we were very disappointed. If I ever book there or through Expedia again I will want to know the room and what is adjacent to it.
