Nice hotel in a great location. Staff couldn't have been friendlier. Only rub was the bed was pretty small for two, but then again I am 6'4" ;-)

Perfect location and high quality

Posted Jan 15, 2017
The location could not be better. It's in the heart of everything in the Back Bay, and the Copley Square T stop is less than a minute walk from the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the amenities nice, especially for the price. I'll definitely stay again when in Boston. The only inconvenient thing is parking, but that's true for just about everywhere you can stay in the Back Bay.

Room untouched for 2 days

Posted Dec 29, 2016
Pros: Location
Cons: Maid service non-existent for my room
I was going to stay here for four nights while visiting my Mom for the holidays. I'd visit her in the daytime then come back here and enjoy a bit of downtown at night. The 3 good things: 1) great location right by Copley Square, 2) great bar w/fun crowd on the first floor and 3) price can't be beat. These, however, were undermined by the awful experience of coming home to a room completely untouched by the maid service. Bed unmade, towels still on floor, garbage still in cans, floor not vacuumed (and it needed it, since I had an accident with a bag of chips!). I complained, and the concierge was perplexed at how my room could have been skipped. I was assured it would not happen again. The next day, I slept in until 11:00, during which time I had the "do not disturb" sign out on the door. I left around noon and flipped the sign over to the "please clean the room" side. Came home that night, and - Voila! - bed unmade, more towels still on floor, more garbage still in cans, floor still not vacuumed. I complained again but was NOT interested in waiting for Strike 3. I cancelled my 4th night and booked another hotel across the street. I got the fourth night refunded but honestly I think I should have gotten more than that, since I was paying for services that were NEVER rendered during my entire stay. Incredible.
