Top Notch

Posted Jul 19, 2016
Location: Easy walk to Boylston and Newbury Streets. We even walked to Fenway and back in the evening.
I booked this for the deal being offered, as well as the location in the Back Bay. From the minute we arrived at the valet slot, we were greeted by friendly, helpful staff. Car was whisked away and we entered the lobby of this fabulous newly refurbished treasure! It is decorated magnificently and feels welcoming and cozy. It's not a huge cookie-cutter hotel, but a modern boutique-ish feel. Expedia helped me request an early check-in, which was granted. On the way to our room on the 4th floor, we noticed the wallpaper which subtly depicted the history of Boston and the beautiful wide carpeted staircases, which you can also chose to use instead of the elevator. The room which was on the Stuart Street side was a jaw dropper! Beautiful modern furnishings. The bathroom was large and spotless.

In a great area and pet friendly

Posted Jul 4, 2016
Old hotel that's had a bit of a refresh. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It's in a great area. If you're travelling with your dog it's probably the best option in the area. It's loud at night (there's a night club downstairs) and despite refresh it's still a bit tired underneath the fresh paint.

Estadia en Boston

Posted Jun 20, 2016

Great location, staff and experience = Great Hotel

Posted May 31, 2016
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: N/A
Location: It is truly in the middle of everything. Shopping, dining, and sightseeing are all a short walk from the door.
My family and I made our first trip to Boston as I was running the Boston Marathon and the rest of the family was participating in the 5K. The location could not have been more convenient. A short walk to Boston Common for the 5K and Monday morning bus pickup and even more important an even shorter walk back from the finish line. The concierge, parking attendants and hosts all went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and the complimentary cupcake and beers that were sent to the room were the icing on the cake. We can't wait to go back!

Greetings Marcus, It was a treat to welcome you and your family for the various races! The week of The Boston Marathon is a special time in Boston and one that we love to be a part of. We are thrilled that you enjoyed the little extras that we provided for the runners and that our location, just a short walk from the Finish Line, was ideal. We thank you again and look forward to welcoming you back from next year’s marathon, if not sooner. Intuitively Yours, Copley Square Hotel

Good location but terrible service

Posted May 16, 2016
Pros: location
Cons: Treating guests (101 of guest services)
This is a small boutique hotel in an excellent location in Copley Sq. The rooms were a bit smaller than I expected but clean. The valet service is very good. And the happy hour of wine tasting every evening is alluring and makes up for the small (but dainty) rooms and very slow elevators. My biggest beef is the terrible hotel guest service which I did not expect from a 4 start hotel. I had forgotten to pick up my laundry when I checked-out and called the hotel desk a few hours later and they assured me that my dry cleaned clothes were in good hands and would be mailed immediately to NY. Of course they did not. Every time I called to follow up the guest services person would say they would check and call back and never did. I wish the people at guest services knew the first thing about treating a guest. I doubt mine is an isolated incidence (although being a Yankee might have something to do with it I suppose). Very unsportsmanlike! (hotel management : if you are reading this, I stayed in room no 425 from April 20 - 22)

Cons: Nothing was amiss !
Location: Very close to Northeastern University shopping and resturants
We were greeted by the young uniformed doorman with a big smile and friendly demeanor . He welcomed us to the Hotel and asked if we needed assistance with any thing . Then he took our bags and escorted us to the front desk . With a grin he said enjoy your stay ! The font desk manager greeted us also quickly got our reservation and room keys and asked if here was anything we needed to let him know .We went up to our room with curious anticipation and was pleasantly surprised with our spacious corner room !

Excellent location in Back Bay

Posted May 12, 2016
Pros: Loved the complimentary coffee and newspapers in the morning, and wine tasting in the evening.
Location: This hotel is located within walking distance to restaurants, duck tour, shopping and the Logan/Back Bay airport shuttle bus.
We visit our son and have stayed at many hotels in Back Bay. This is our first stay at the Copley Square Hotel, and we will certainly return next time we are in Boston.
