Good hotel in good location

Posted Nov 30, 2016
Pros: Location in walking distance of historic center. Very comfortable bed. Very helpful receptionist Andy.
Cons: Cleaners to abide by green policy and not clean so early in the morning. Provide a fuller service from Starbucks. Have a restaurant fir evening meals.
Location: In wLking distance to start of Freedom Trail. Walking distance from South Station. Subway across the road. In Theater district.
I enjoyed stay at this hotel. It was in walking distance to main sights in Boston and Freedom Trail. The bed was very comfortable. I want to mention particularly the very helpful receptionist Andy. Some of the other staff not so good. Engineer couldn't work out why alarm clock was going off at 4am. I unplugged it after being woken up on two nights. Other staff did not know where the famous Trinity Church was. I was not happy to come back from Breakfast to find cleaner already in room. They have a green policy but cleaners did not abide by it, taking my towels away every day. There is a Starbucks in the hotel but in the afternoon they could not serve me a tea and something sweet to eat.

Clean spacious rooms

Posted Nov 26, 2016
Good hotel for a good price. The cleaning staff were very nice and helpful. However the front desk staff were not as helpful. Had to call 3 times to have something sent up to the room (took over an hour). The hotel itself was very clean and the rooms were spacious.

Perfect location to theatre area. Welcome staff.

Cons: Coffee maker/
Nice room. Walls thin for noise. Phone in room did not work. Ice machine not working on this floor 10. However staff accomodated request for quiet room on high floor with a smile. Directly across from Concert hall.

Very nice hotel, superb location

Posted Oct 3, 2016
Pros: I loved the welcoming comfort of the bed --what a luxury!
Location: The hotel is centrally located near subway/bus transport. A 10-minute ride gets one to the public library, Copley Square and other places of interest.
My husband and I had a very late check-in, no problem or hassle there; we left a noisy, crowded street and walked into an atmosphere of calm efficiency in the hotel lobby. Everyone was courteous and helpful.

Good value and good location.

In the heart of the threaten district, it's easy to walk to the shoes. There are restaurants close by and a quick walk to the Old Town Trolley route. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Boston Courtyard by Marriot near theatre district

Posted Sep 26, 2016
Pros: Also loved the fresh cold honeydew melon water and apples available in the lobby.
Location: Our stay was brief but enjoyed walking the Boston Gardens and North End, try to have dinner at Mamma Mia's!
We spent one night at the Marriott and although we had some trouble getting our phone GPS to locate the correct Courtyard and drive to the location with our reservation, it was smooth sailing after that. Room was very clean, rather small which was expected. Not much space for luggage. Parking is an extra $53.00 but that is typical and it was nice to have the valet with the crazy downtown traffic, even on a Saturday afternoon. Best part of the stay was the accommodating staff in the lobby and front desk. The manager on Sunday morning, (Katherine?) helped us with printed driving directions to get us out of Boston to Maine and it helped immensely. Very friendly and helpful!

Awful. Extremely loud & VERY small room

Posted Sep 13, 2016
Between the clubs, hospital, and house keeping, this hotel was extremely loud at all times of the day/night. Room & bathroom were VERY tiny! Also $53 a day for valet/parkint at the hotel was ridiculous!!! Id never stay there again!!

We sincerely regret the disturbance. Our downtown location can mean extra street activity on weekends, as much as we try to contain it. On your next visit, we would be happy to assign one of our quieter, interior-facing rooms upon request.

Great location

Posted Sep 13, 2016
Pros: Just about everything.
Location: See above notes
Great location and very comfortable stay. Walking distance to: many historical sites, on/off bus tour with harbor cruise, China town, theater district, shopping, restaurants and T line for subway transportation. Great food at their small bar and restaurant. Would recommend taking taxi to and from Logan airport if you have 2 or more bags to carry (lots of stairs to reach platform). Would stay here again.

Over all a good experience. Centrally located. Good selection of restaurants nearby.
