It was the perfect place for us to stay. Near the theatre.

Good if you don't have a car.

Posted Jan 18, 2016
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: The parking should be less money.
Location: There was plenty to do and the best Italian restaurant in town, Maggiano's.
We were satistied with our stay here, but disappointed because there was no free parking. They charge $49 for parking or you can park across the street for $34. Either way it is an extra cost.

Glad you enjoyed Maggiano's. They have great food and are an easy walk from the hotel. There are several parking lots and garages in the area aside from our Valet Parking if you prefer to park your car and don't mind a short walk. Parking is expensive in Boston. Another option is to use the subway or "T". It is a great value at $3.00 per ride.

Super Noisey - Avoid for business travel

Posted Jan 15, 2016
Staying at the Courtyard Marriot Downtown Boston was one of the worst experiences I have had while traveling for business. Apparently there is a club directly below or attached to the establishment and you can feel every bit of bass trembling through the walls. Luckily around 3:30 am this stops. Luckily. When you have to wake up at 6am this doesn't make for a restful stay. If you are traveling for business my advice would be to stay away from this hotel at all costs. No matter your "Marriott Status".

Dear KN I am sincerely sorry that you were disturbed by nightclub noise. Our location in the heart of the clubs and nightlife can be a blessing and curse. As a Marriott Reward member your satisfaction and your business is extremely important.

Great location

Although the heat was adequate there was a terrible draft from the windows. I had to ask for blankets to put on window ledge bec the headboard was against the window.

Thank you for staying. I apologize that you were uncomfortable. Those corner rooms have marvelous views with 3 big windows but I can understand on a windy night that it may get a bit drafty. I will share this feedback with our building engineer to see what can be done.

Pros: Rooms were small, but nice
I stayed at this location on New Years eve. It was a very reasonable price. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Charged a fee for a "smoking odor"

Posted Jan 6, 2016
I was charged 250$ for a smoking fee when in dout I DID NOT smoke in my room. My boyfriend is a heavy smoker and everytime he went outside for a smoke, the odor lingers on his clothes constantly! We did NOT smoke in the room! and the manager was very rude when I called and asked what this fee could be. Poor service.

Thank you for staying at the Courtyard. We appreciate your feedback. I understand your frustration regarding the cleaning/smoking fee. While we respect smoker's rights to smoke, US Marriott hotels are all nonsmoking. Our cleanliness standards require all textiles to be removed and cleaned or replaced when there is evidence of smoking in order to ready the room for the next guest.

The hotel was gorgeous and in a very convenient location!! Surrounded by numerous clubs and bars and just a 5 minute walk from Boston Common and Boston Public Garden! The staff were friendly and our room had an amazing view of the city. Very clean and comfortable. And free wifi didn't hurt too! I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.

Great spot close to South End action

Posted Dec 9, 2015
Beautiful hotel with exceptionally friendly and courteous staff. The complimentary desserts available at night in the lobby were a nice touch! Great location close to Citi Wang and nightlife. I appreciated that it was locked after 10 with access available only to guests. No parking on site but several options nearby (LAZ parking across the street was $25 overnight on a weekend).
