Girls trip

Posted Aug 20, 2015
Pros: Temp and clean
Cons: Stained sheets at a Marriott are just plain wrong when you pay over $250 a night for a hotel!
Location: 2-3 miles away (not walkable during 90 degree weather) are the major things to do as a tourist-Quincy Market, Long Wharf, etc.
Was difficult to walk to anything-too far from major attractions and spent a lot of money in transportation. Missed breakfast one morning at the hotel and asked for other options, 1 staff member indicated there was nothing available elsewhere and 1 staff member told us about a wonderful diner not too far away (by cab). In the 90's during our stay but room was always cool. Nothing very special about this place. Overpriced but adequate. Some of the staff rude.

Fire Alarm:Hold Please!

Posted Aug 12, 2015
Pros: Location -even though they couldn't get us where we wanted-
Cons: LOTS
Location: BLUE HILL PAVILLION
4 FAMILY ROOMS booked ahead on expedia.Arrived and it took 20 min. to check in . Could not tell us how far shuttle went to waterfront. They ordered 2 separate cabs and none showed up.Thanks to Oswaldo,he got us there! Returned, went to sleep the fire alarm went off in my brothers room @2am.He called front desk they put him on hold 5 times w/out answering each time.my son went to the front desk complained and still nothing happened.Eventually they moved them to them to the 6th floor without telling the cleaning lady who woke them up by opening the door. They offered "if we signed up for the Marriot Rewards Points we could get enough points to maybe get a free room"That Was Not Acceptable. So they told us we could take any snacks out of the market place that we wanted??????? #PUT HIM ON HOLD 5TIMES.#GLAD IT WASN'T A REAL FIRE!!!!! #GIVE OSWALDO A RAISE!

The hotel itself was very nice and clean. It's very near to a shopping center and not far from a small park on the harbor with a beach. The hotel has parking out front; the room had a small refrigerator and free Wi-Fi.

Good bistro for a lite bite to eat. Elijah the waiter wonderful and friendly. Hot tub super super tub. Pool small but nice and indoors. Cookies at 5pm wonderful on the one day they were available. Check in staff not the best, missed a few things. But would stay there again

Clean, comfortable room

Posted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: Wonderful breakfast and friendly hotel staff.
Cons: Would have liked to be able to control temperature in room. We got hot.
Location: Shuttle service to tram station provided.
Room was comfortable. Did have difficulty controlling temperature in room, set temperature at low setting, but, air conditioner didn't respond. Continental breakfast was phenomenal.

Nice hotel

Good place to stay. Further from sights than it looks. Area outside hotel seemed sketchy. Hotel "nickel & dimed" you for everything, breakfast, shuttle to airport etc. although did get water and granola bar.

Just a T ride away from downtown

Posted Jun 27, 2015
This was a great location. We did not have to deal with Boston traffic. Parking was free and the hotel. rooms were clean, large and nicely decorated. The shuttle took us right to the T, picked us up or we could walk as it was close. The hotel was a respit from Boston which is old, crowded and dirty but very interesting historically. Take a Boston Duck tour. It will be the highlight of your trip
