Not in the city proper, the location proved to be what we needed. Close enough to access Fenway, Harvard, M.I.T., Boston Harbor, the Commons,etc with a short Uber ride. The hotel even has an outstanding Jazz club. That was an amazing surprise.

The hotel it nice and the staff to but it is a little far from downtown boston. But it is the perfect spot to bring your bicycle

Great stay. Wish your pool was bigger, but it was nice. Love the cookies!! We brought the kids this time, but the hubby and I want to come alone. A lot of nightlife.

SUITES (need I say more?)

We have stayed here many times and have always come away with a positive take...The rooms are true 'Suites': a living room with TV, table, chairs and pull-out couch (double-bed); a walk thru 'pantry with a mini-fridge, coffee maker and counter on the left and the full bath on the right. The bedroom is next with a king bed, another TV and enough room for your stuff. Our large bedroom windows have always overlooked the Charles River. There is a Jazz club, a decent restaurant and a bar on the property. If you want to save a little on breakfast, there is a Dunkin' Donuts just across the bridge on the Cambridge side...a short walk. The Concierge can also give you menus from restaurants which deliver. We have usually stayed here with one couple in the bedroom, and our daughter on the pull-out couch. The price has always been very reasonable compared with having to book 2 rooms elsewhere. There isn't much to do in the immediate neighborhood, but the Hotel offers a shuttle van to a few sites around the city, and cabs are always available. Parking is a little steep at $30/night, but that's the only option... Highly recommended overall.

Nice hotel- short cab ride to Fenway

It's always nice to have a spacious hotel room and with separate bedroom and sitting area this hotel is a good choice. We had tickets to see the Sox and it was easier to take a short cab ride to the game- and back- than to pay to park near the stadium. Our room overlooked the river and we watched the scullers early in the morning which was an added bonus. Roof top bar has great view but a limited drink menu.

Cons: better information about current events for visitors
Location: enjoy charles river
our 4th of July, one nite stay was ok. but, there was no information about the holiday. we had to walk back and forth to the fireworks pops. food prices very high in the hotel.

Never Stay Here!!!

I booked my room on line. When I arrived there was confusion regarding my reservation. We were placed in a suite room with a large conference table in the living room. I reserved a room with a balcony that was listed to sleep 4. The staff said that this was not true. I had to produce a copy of my reservation along with the number. I was told that the room was sufficiently close to what I reserved so there was nothing the hotel would do. The staff and manager were condescending and rude. I would NEVER recommend this hotel.
