Nice hotel but read the fine print about parking!

Overall a nice hotel with a better than standard breakfast. Rooms are spacious for Boston and well kept. The big negative is that I booked this hotel through Expedia on my phone and did not see that the only option for parking is valet at $40 per night. Having checked in at 10:30pm and leaving by 8:30am, that seems ridiculous. Leaving out the $40 fee for parking from the room rate seems devious and I would have selected another hotel closer to the city center if I had known the actual rate including parking.

Dear Brian, Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. Unfortunately parking is at a premium in the airport area as it is even more so downtown. Of course it is a separate charge as those guests who do not have a vehicle are not paying for that service. We certainly show parking charges clearly on our own site however cannot control other site layouts. Thank you for staying with us and I do hope we have the opportunity to welcome you again.

Easy to get to airport

Short stay but satisfied. Looked for a place close to Logan for an upcoming trip and this fit the bill.

Great location right near the T.

Loved this place. Prompt shuttle pick up. Great facilities and wonderful breakfast. Even an evening reception nightly. Never needed a cab. So close to the T. Will stay here again. Even marathon weekend it was fabulous. Surprisingly no airport noise at all. Thrilled!

Embassy Suites was a good deal for us. The free breakfast, & shuttle to airport was great! Towards the end of our stay though, we were looking for a shuttle to the train station & this man, maybe a mgr suggested we walk to the train station! It was cold, & why would Embassy Suites offer to shuttle you, then tell you to walk? I didn't appreciate that. I don't think that man would have walked himself! The shuttle driver was a little slow coming to pick us up from the train station too. Stood outside in the blowing cold wind waiting for almost 25 minutes! (On 03-20-17.)

Dear Terri, I am sorry that you were not happy with your shuttle experience. We are indeed less than a five minute walk to the airport 'T' station, actually less time than it takes to drive there and many of our guests once they realize how close it is choose to walk as opposed to waiting for the shuttle. That said our drivers are happy to take guests to and pick-up at the station however it does take some time to do so. We do look forward to welcoming you again. Safe travels, James C

MY FRIEND'S GOLD NECKLACE STOLEN FROM ROOM!

Pros: AIRPORT SHUTTLE, BEDS WERE COMFORTABLE.
Cons: FRONT DESK PERSON COULDN'T SPEAK ENGLISH AND WAS QUITE RUDE. THE HOTEL STAFF WITH ROOM KEYS NEED BACKGROUND CHECKS!!! THERE IS A THIEF AMONG THEM!
Location: GOOD FOR QUICK IN AND OUT FROM LOGAN..BUT NOT WORTH THE PRICE DIFFERENTIAL COMPARED TO OTHER AREA CHAIN HOTELS.
THE THIEF LEFT HER COSTUME JEWELRY...DEFINITELY KNEW SOMETHING ABOUT WHAT WAS VALUABLE! SHE WAS ONLY GONE A FEW HOURS FROM THE ROOM. THE HOTEL STILL HASN'T FOLLOWED UP WITH HER, A DAY AFTER HER DEPARTURE FROM THE HOTEL. PLUS, THE HOTEL WANTED TO CHARGE US $44 FOR PARKING OUR CAR - WHICH WE PICKED UP AT THE AIRPORT - FOR 2.5 HOURS!!! WE PICKED IT UP, WENT TO CHECK INTO THE HOTEL, AND LEFT ABOUT TWO HOURS LATER...AND THEN RETURNED THE CAR BEFORE GOING BACK TO THE HOTEL. THE ONLY PLUS WAS THAT THE AIRPORT SHUTTLE DRIVER WAS VERY, VERY NICE!

Dear Susan, We did a key lock interrogation of your room and the only keys used to enter the room were those provided you. Our room attendant entered the room once to leave the shower-cap you requested. Upon checkout your room was thoroughly searched and nothing was found. There were multiple people staying in the room. I realize that people typically assume that the 'room attendant' did it, however in my experience that is the least likely scenario. We are very fortunate to have a great team who have demonstrated themselves to be honest and reliable. In fact at this hotel a couple of years ago a room attendant found $4000 cash and turned it in immediately. If nothing else why would an individual jeopardize their job, guests forget things all the time and our lost and found is brimming with items turned in daily by our room attendants. All our guest suites have safes to secure valuables. I assure you that we take this seriously however there is no further information or development beyond what you already know. We do thorough background checks on all team members, as we take our roles seriously. Sincerely,

Nice hotel close to everything

We were in Boston for a Celtics game. To avoid hours of driving home after the game we decided to just make a day/night in Boston. We found The Embassy online based on ratings. The hotel is a wonderful place to stay. The staff were all very nice and helpful. They were very accommodating as they allowed us to check in several hours early. My 3 kids loved the pool and hot tub. Our room was very nice and I especially liked how clean it was. Having access to a shuttle all day and night if needed was also a bonus as we parked at the airport and used the train several times. We will definitely look forward to future stays at this hotel ☺
