Conveniently located

Pros: Check in went well and valet service was good
Cons: Offered only coffee and danish in the morning. I was not able to connect to there wifi, yet I did connect to a wifi nearby.
Location: Was convenient for my needs and food nearby was good
Nice restaurants nearby , conveniently located, valet service was good

The hotel was very pleasant to stay at - the rooms were perfectly furnished with comfy beds, soft towels and tasty caramel sweets.

Hotel staff was very helpful. Room was clean and hotel recently renovated, so it was clean and modern.

Felt unsafe

I was given a room on the first floor. Windows said they were locked for the safety of the guests and faced a brightly lite parking garage. Not a place you feel comfortable staying as a single female - at least not on the first floor.

Close to colleges

Room was nice but had terrible musty smell that never went away. Don't know what the root cause is but needs to be addressed. Otherwise everything else was up to par. Small, boutique like hotel with is own flair in residential area. Would have really enjoyed our stay if that underlying odor didn't make us feel something was wrong.

Friendly staff and "common good" attitude

We booked this hotel at the last minute since an AirBnB booking did not live up to our expectations. We took what we could find and possibly afford in a hectic online scramble, and Envision it was. We stayed for four nights, and it was lovely - clean, modern rooms with fridges and microwaves. Upon first impression, one might take the hotel as being a bit sterile in decor, but the staff was especially friendly and helpful, and this certainly added a lot of warmth and liveliness to the place. Each evening, quality complimentary snacks were offered in the reception area. This included sandwiches, pizza, JP Licks ice cream and fresh pastries. Since we first thought of getting a pretty good deal on our original accommodation plan, I was a bit stressed about paying significantly more for this hotel in addition to not being able to save money by cooking meals at “home”. This feeling immediately subsided, however, when I learned that Envision offers lower rates plus complimentary taxi service to and from all Longwood hospitals for those visiting the area for medical examination/treatment. I had no problem paying the normal rate to an establishment that helps other guests in this capacity.

Cons: New Air Conditioner
Great Hotel except the Air Conditioner (in-room) goes off every 15' and is quite noisy!

Location was very good for us. Near train and bus lines; walkable from Fenway Park. Staff was very friendly. Love that there's a 24 hour convenience store and a restaurant open till 3 am on the same block.

Stayed to be near hospital.

Was pleasantly greeted by hotel staff and they were very helpful. There was an ice cream sundae bar in the lobby which a fun and yummy surprise. Our hotel room was very clean and comfortable. The price was very reasonable, too. Used the valet parking option which went well. Location is near several good places to eat. We are at "Mamas Place" a Greek food restaurant. We had Greek Salad with chicken. It was delicious and the cost was very reasonable. I would definitely stay there again.
