Nice hotel. Good prices. T Line is right outsidePosted Aug 30, 2015
Pros: Price was fair and although not in downtown area , ended up being centrally located when public transportation is factored in.
Cons: The room had a slight moldy smell initially. Got used to it fast.
Location: All of Boston. Say no more
Stayed fro 3 nights. The staff is great and very helpful. The Green T line is right outside the front door. Speedy connections to downtown, Fenway Area and Cambridge.

Very nice, clean hotel with helpful staffPosted Jun 26, 2015
Location: The hotel was near many excellent hopsitals.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was a bit out of the way for the city locations we were visiting, though.

Hidden $50 Incidental feePosted Jun 18, 2015
Pros: The room is clean and the staff is friendly.
Cons: Again, I hope that the hotel will notify their customers before charging them any fees.
Location: food places are 15 min walk from the hotel. Transportation is convenient.
I stayed at the hotel for one night only. During check-in, the hotel receptionist asked if he can put my credit card down for the incidental fee. When I asked what the fee is about, he explained that it's similar to damage fee. the receptionist did NOT specify that he was charging $50 incidental fee on my credit card. I only knew about the charge after i checked out. When I called the hotel to ask about the charge, the representative said it will go away after 24-48 hours (It took 4 days). In addition, when i asked why i was not notify of the credit card charge, he responded that it is a cross country U.S. policy to charge incidental fee which is similar to a security deposit during check-in This is the first time I had this negative experience. I hope that the hotel will notify their customers the specifics of any fees before placing any charges on their credit cards.

Nice hotel outside of the heart of BostonPosted Jun 7, 2015
Pros: The location, the comfort of the room, and the staff. Apples (free) and snacks (for purchase) in the lobby were handy.
Cons: The water pressure in the shower could be turned up, but it is an environmentally friendly hotel.
Location: There isn't much in the area, but jump on a T line (Green Line E) and you will be in the city in no time.
I turned up late for a Red Sox v Yankees game, and the hotel staff reacted straight away, checking me in as quickly as they could, and giving me a cheat way to save time travelling to the game, which meant I made it for the first pitch. Upon my return, the staff were able to explain the hotel to me at 11.30pm at night. They were very friendly, and informative. The actual room had a few maintenance issues, but nothing that didn't stop me from being comfortable. The television was huge, great for watching sports, movies and NFL Draft. The hotel is close to a Charlie stop, and you will be in the heart of the city in about 10-15mins.

My vacationPosted May 27, 2015 on Hotels
Only stayed for three days, but except for a malfunctioning vending machine, everything was fine. All of the staff did their jobs well. There was a young man whose first name was Allo (spelled as it sounded) who was outstanding. Very friendly, making us feel right at home.

Convenient to BCPosted May 21, 2015 on Hotels
Lovely hotel but parking is difficult. Need to use valet service. Considered Brookline but a few blocks away from the border. Our destination was Boston College and the drive there was convenient.

JP HotelPosted May 11, 2015 on Hotels
The room was comfortable except for a loud fan in the bathroom that was very disrupting. I object to the fact that a $50 charge was put on my American Express Card without my prior knowledge even though I was told when I inquired that since I had no charges, I would receive a credit for $50 in the coming days.

Gem in Jamaica PlainPosted May 4, 2015
I had a five-night stay visiting my son who lives in Jamaica Plain. I didn't want to stay in Cambridge again (closer to where he'd lived before) and the choices were slim. He recommended enVision and I went with his advice and I'm very glad I did. The hotel is well-run, clean, comfortable and seems brand-new. The bed was very comfortable, which is a big factor when choosing a hotel, as I suffer from back issues. The in-room amenities are plentiful and kept in perfect running order, replenished daily by an excellent housekeeping staff. I would recommend the enVision to anyone visiting the greater Boston area.

DisappointingPosted Apr 16, 2015
Tiny room on the lower level under the snack bar - so the room was noisy. I was expecting more given the high ratings on Expedia
