Great location if working near Financial District

Posted Aug 29, 2015
Pros: I liked the location.
Cons: The hotel does not have a perks program.
Location: It is near the water and also near the financial district.
It is located right near the water and is close to the Financial District. I walked a couple of blocks over to State and Congress. It is near the wharf as well.

Bed Bugs

Posted Aug 26, 2015
Honestly, the hotel itself was great. Good staff and accommodations, location, etc. The major issue I had was that I left the place with numerous bug bites that bore a striking resemblance to bed bug bites. I know this is a pretty major accusation, but I've seen these kinds of bites before. At first, I asked myself, "where did I go that I got so many mosquito bites?" And then it dawned on me, "these are bed bug bites." I'm no doctor, but from my prior experience with the pests and a couple google searches, it was pretty clear that I was not bitten by mosquitoes. I stayed in room 311 just for reference.

Boston unique in colonial history

Posted Aug 21, 2015
Pros: Everything runs seamlessly. Boutique in its offering. Doesn't debit a bond charge which is very rare for a US hotel. Great tucked away location
Location: Harbour, Little Italy, Boston Tea Party, Fanuell markets
Coming to Boston for the first time I had little knowledge of what it could offer and its history. You can learn in your stay the role of the city played in becoming the American Revolution. Harborside is a great location as it connects you to the harbor, port, markets, financial district and healthy walking to Common gardens and many others. Highly recommend a visit to Boston but at least one week to fulfill its history and offerings.

Close to the touristy area

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Cleanliness, decor
It had a great location but I was underwhelmed with the room, the carpet felt old and dirty, like i couldnt walk around barefoot. It had all the essentials but nothing that made it above average.

Decent hotel close to Fanuiel Hall

Posted Aug 16, 2015
Pros: Great location and friendly staff. Contemporary decor. Free WiFi.
Cons: Better toiletries (I brought my own but run out about 1/2 way through my stay), update AC, better lighting in rooms and better sheets.
Location: Close to Fanueil Hall and about a .6 mile walk to the Financial District. Right on the T line, two blocks from the Harbor.
The best thing about the hotel is its location. It's located across the street from Fanueil Hall, a block from the aquarium and harbor and directly at a T-station. The bed was comfortable, and the room seemed clean. This was a total dude hotel-- for example, the hotel had surround sound for the TV but didn't provide conditioner in the mini toiletries. It was very masculine in decoration (which was fine) but the room lighting was really dark. The AC had no auto-mode, so it was either on or off, which wasn't 100% comfortable, but I suspect blocked out a lot of the street noise. Full disclosure: I'm a sheet snob, and these weren't up to par-- they felt ... gritty? On the plus side-- it was cheaper than the surrounding options on late notice, was in a really great area for a first time Boston visitor, has free wifi (other nearby hotels did not), and let you print for free from their (ancient and slow) computers.

The location is with much to do.

Posted Aug 13, 2015
Pros: Spacious rooms and very clean and modern. Location was superb
Cons: Type of room being offered should be explained. People may not mind windowless rooms, but most do.
Location: Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall, the port, restaurants.... Located in the Old town area
The hotel was great. I was disappointed that Expedia did not state the type of room being offered. We were given a "cabin room" without a window in a basement level. I had to pay to get moved to a floor with a windowed room for additional fees. I would advice to check the room being offered before booking, as this is the only room Expedia is generally given....
