Valets stole cash out of my car . I was disappointed in that considering I tipped them very well. Hotel overall was good. You have to call 20 min ahead of time for valet. Check in was speedy. Decent location close to everything.

Pros: In the heart of the Boston Financial District. So much to see and do with no need for a taxi.
Cons: In the world of free wifi I was surprised that they charge you a fee to have wifi in your room. Fortunately there are several cafe's with if for free.
Clean, comfortable. Don't bother eating in the hotel restaurant when there is so variety just outside the front door.

hotel doorman was extremely helpful and courteousPosted Sep 23, 2015
Pros: very nice - in a good part of Boston
location was where we wanted to be to visit Kennedy Library - needed a cab to get everywhere. Maybe we should nave tried to stay in an area more centrally located to historic sites so we could walk. Nice restaurant for breakfast and cocktails / dinner.

Good location -- in the financial districtPosted Sep 21, 2015
Nice hotel, excellent service, comfortable beds. Location is in the financila district, and close to Quincy Market, so there are plenty of opportunities to walk. Easy to get to business meetings in the financial district.

Nice hotel in a great area in BostonPosted Sep 14, 2015
Pros: The location, clean comfortable rooms, and the security.
Cons: We didn't spend anytime in the hotel, but that is probably part of the charm of the area.
Location: This hotel is on Broad which is about three blocks from the Old State House, Faneuil Mall, and the Aquarium. Access to Subway and tours.
This hotel is all about location location location. It was a pricey room, but the three days we spent there made us fall in love with the area and our oversize double room was very nice for the extended stay. The hotel felt very secure and the staff was friendly. There was a number of great bars from the lively Irish pub to the laid back within a few blocks and great restaurants. We took a Hop On Hop Off Bus Tour that left a few blocks from here and learned a lot about Boston. Also have access to the T which is great for getting around and take the time to check out Faneuil Mall for the great food, shopping, and entertainment.

Very central locationPosted Sep 10, 2015
Pros: Central location, cleanlyness, staff
Cons: Breakfast and air con noise
Location: 2 mins from The harbour and market, 20 mins walk from most of the main attractions/ Go on the hop on hop off trolley day and visit tea party ships.
Room good, a hotel clean and the location excellent for the harbour and the city generally. The staff where on the whole very pleasant with a couple of exceptions. The breakfast was particularly disaponting , cold and the service slow ate out after first day. The most disappointing thing was the noise from the air condioning units in the central light well made it difficult to get to sleep at night, ask for a room on the out side and upper floor.

Great locationPosted Sep 9, 2015
Hotel was in an excellent location. Very convenient to Quincy Market. Hotel was very quiet so we could actually get some sleep in the mornings. Concierge was excellent. One drawback was that our room was not ready at the time of our check in at 3PM.

Beautiful old hotel near many sights in BostsonPosted Sep 8, 2015
Pros: I thought the building was beautiful and well kept. Everyone was very helpful even when we didn't ask questions of the appropriate people.
Location: We were close enough to the Harbor, Quincy Mkt, Fanuiel Sq, USS Constitution, as well as restaurants, pubs, to walk to all of these easily as seniors
We booked the hotel through a website and were very pleased overall. We got there from the airport about an hour before regular check in time but were checked in without any mention of being early. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful and friendly, from the bellhop, to the Concierge, to the desk staff.

Safe & great location; affordable weekend ratesPosted Sep 8, 2015
Weekend rates for hotels and parking (in other lots, not at hotel) are so much cheaper than weekday. I'm glad we went on the weekend to be able to afford this hotel. I've stayed in Hiltons before and find them to be very comfortable overall. Except for the pillows, which are super smushy. I'm a side-sleeper and prefer firm pillows. This location is safe and just blocks away from Quincy Market, the North End, Haymarket, and at about the mid-way point on the Freedom Trail. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had 2 free bottles of water, which were restocked every day. The only downside: our side of the hotel was across the street from a hip-hop dance club (Fri & Sat nights); my friend is a light sleeper and the booming bass kept her up until 2:35am. I didn't hear a thing. The next day we spoke to the front desk about it and he gave her complimentary ear plugs. She slept better the 2nd night. The weather during our stay was absolutely beautiful, so we walked everywhere; only taking the T to Harvard & back. It was a girls weekend filled with lots of sight seeing. FYI: I parked at the International Parking Garage, which is 3 blocks away from the hotel; their rates are significantly cheaper than the hotel's.
