Good location

Pros: Location
Cons: Signage. With new construction next door, it was difficult to see the hotel as you came to it. Some ID on the building front.
Location: Usual Boston traffic, but we went to Fenway and the theater easily from there. Also easy access to T line.
We were there for a ball game and theater event over the weekend. Location afforded access to both and had parking for our vehicle. Pretty close to T station too if you're inclined to public transportation. Clean facility, good breakfast and coffee.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and fresh. Room was spacious and comfortable. Great location as well, very walkable area. Highly recommend.

do not know about the parking fee -$30 / night notice after booking,. come out to pay more money than the other place free breakfast - nothing good

Mixed bag

Pros: Price and proximity to neighborhood places to walk to for meals, and accessibility to Boston and Cambridge. Real breakfast with protein (eggs, etc.).
Cons: Improve staff attitude! Will the construction ever be completed? No signs of improvement while we were there (March 2017).
Location: Plenty of quality neighborhood restaurants and bars within walking distance, and a short drive to hot spots in downtown Boston and Cambridge.
The location was great, the price was extremely reasonable, and the real breakfast provided is a huge plus. The manager and one of the attendants were professional and helpful. However, that was not the case with all of their employees. One attendant in particular refused to answer the phone (we were calling to request a wake up call AND assistance with a clogged toilet). When we walked down there, she was busy having a personal conversation on the phone and was quite annoyed that we interrupted her. IMAGINE THAT! She eventually sent someone up to unclog the toilet and she never bothered to enter the request for a wake-up call. We were late to a very important appointment in the morning.

Nice hotel not overly expensive

Hotel was fine, free breakfast was great. Knowing it's not the hotels fault but there is construction of a large condo complex that completely blocks the hotel from view coming from one side. Since Bodton traffic is hard to navigate even with GPS it was hard to get to hotel.

Pros: Unfailingly pleasant and helpful staff. Very nice people. The breakfast was truly excellent! Such a treat.
Cons: The bed needed to be firmer. Difficult to sleep well if you have back or neck issues. Otherwise, the room was excellent and extremely comfortable.
Location: It is next to a historic, working class neighborhood with interesting architecture. Central location in Cambridge. Close to nice shopping center.
We really enjoyed this hotel. Super lovely staff, outstanding complementary breakfast, clean and nicely furnished rooms, adequate parking, nice central location in Cambridge.

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. However parking was across a busy street, and the toilet handle was hard to flush and felt like it would break every time used. The hotel also ran out of hot water one evening.
