"Perfect location, cozy and friendly!"
We are so glad we went with this B&B over a Hotel; felt very homey and cozy. The breakfast was phenomenal and he was very flexible with times to make it in the morning. Felt very relaxed, comfortable, and safe here so will definitely plan on returning. Very convenient location; quick walk to Harvard Square and easy to find. It is on the 3rd floor of the apartment building so just keep this in mind if stairs are not your friend.

"'New' Hotel in Kenmore Square"
We stayed in Hotel Commonwealth as we were visiting colleges. HC is convenient to BU, MIT and NorthEastern. The room was larger than I expected. In our queen room, there was enough space for 2 sofa chairs and a table with 2 chairs. It had a mini fridge and I called to request a Keurig which was brought up immediately. Our room had 'baseball' curtains and a great view of Fenway Park. Since it was February, there was no game and the neighborhood was quiet. We loved that in Kenmore Square, we could pick from McDonalds, DD, Brueggers and Starbucks for breakfast. We also loved that the "T" is right outside the door. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

"Mostly excellent, but it may not be for all"
On the plus side, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the room is kept meticulously. It is located very close to Harvard Square so location wise it does the job brilliantly. Free coffee (Nespresso!!!) and complementary drinks are amazing, and the wi-fi connection is also great. However, there is one - and probably only - drawback that is particularly noticeable, which is that the building and the facilities are aging a little bit. The switch for one of the standing lamps simply didn't work so I had to pull the plug out to turn it off. Moreover, because the windows are single-glazed, there was definitely some draft coming in at night, which is somewhat worrying considering the fact that the weather wasn't anywhere near how cold Boston area could get in winter. But the bathroom is definitely refurbished and modern: water pressure was good, toilet was brand new etc. All in all, however, I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff, the service, and the location more than make up for whatever little infelicities the hotel may have in terms of its facilities. Keep it up guys! Thank you!

"Enjoyed our stay only 1 complaint"
The hotel was great, I would definitely recommend a harbor view. Our only complaint was a staff member came in at 10am to "check the honor basket items". It was a little uncomfortable as we stood there in our bathrobes as she came in to count items for inventory. When I called down to the front desk to ask if it was normal, they said yes they refill the items for you daily. However, we never requested this and we checked out an hour later. Being in the industry, this is not normal and could have waited until check out. Otherwise, a nice hotel.

"Quick vacation of sorts..."
The good, I rated each catagory excellent, because it was! It's a great hotel right on the water! Great views from the upper floors, nearby to all the attractions in the city. Food & entertainment nearby was great also! As with most hotels you get what you pay for... Seaport was worth what we paid! While we didn't actually eat at any of the in hotel restaurants, we did use room service for our son, good food at expected prices! The bad, For the price.... you would think parking would be included or at least discounted?? Be aware when planning your stay, although they do give you a parking pass there is a $37 per night charge for parking! $150 to park in the hotel garage thought that was excessive!
