While we love the beach, the price to stay at the property with the additional 75 dollar “amenities “ charge was not worth it .

Clearly…some accountant is involved in cost cutting…. 2nd time in a month. Fireplaces that don’t work..same with elevators, staff not trained, exterior paint on balconies looking tired and in need of repair..soon they will lose resort statud and we’re re-thinking booking a wedding. So sad.

Staff was super friendly and kind. Overall cleanliness was good, and the feel of the hotel in general was nice and updated. Downside was that our room smelt of cigarettes, even though they are supposed to be a smoke free property. & I’m not sure what it was but there was a loud annoying noise running throughout our entire stay, sounded like there were large washer machines going right above our room.

If they ( Resort) invested in the physical property, and put on some more staff, it would be a five star Resort. Alas, they have hired a “ bean counter” who has told upper management he or she will “ draw a line on costs”… penny wise, pound foolish. One of the great locations on the south shore. Elevators broken, restaurant closed on New Years Day, no room service, no one to help with bags…

I would like some sort of refund for this stay. I tried to check in twice at the appropriate check in time and the staff was so rude. I let them know we had a wedding to get ready for and was still so rude. I had STILL let them know we would be checking in late and then when we did check in we were marked as a no show and almost didn’t get our room. I want some sort of refund.

This place is poorly run now
This has been the worst hotel experience I’ve endured ever!!!! Hearing g vent over my bed sounds like a freight train so it wakes me all during the night .. no solid sleep. Broken phone, no way to call desk so I had to walk to front desk with all questions. Hotel employee came to fix the phone and not knocking, walked into the bedroom unannounced. Wall looks like it has 2 blood stains that are not small.. so so so many issues it’s very disheartening..!

Nice hotel, We have stayed here before and enjoyed it. Unfortunately…Long wait to check in. I prepaid, but was still charged a hundred dollar “deposit” at check in which was completely unexpected and unexplained until I asked. The resort fee was expected but the deposit was not and doesn’t make sense when you have already paid in full. They didn’t know anything about the electric car charging station, and could only provide a page long instruction sheet that required downloading an app and creating an account, which is very time consuming and I really wish they had told us in advance as we were already late and could have done that more easily in advance. The hotel is very nice and the pool and gym are excellent. We really enjoyed the experience except for the check in process so hopefully that will be smoothed out in the future.

We've stayed at this property 10x and this hotel has no system to recognize repeat clients or VIPs. We were there for 2 nights in Dec 23 and didn't get cleaning service, although we asked for it. They offered to provide a credit. Upon checkout, no one had made a notation of the problems or communication. No manager presence was available during the 2 days. Also, upon checkin, staff told us Shoreline restaurant was serving until 10PM. At 9:15, we showed up and restaurant kitchen was closed. So, was most everything else in town. We asked for new pillows that weren't lumpy. We were delivered pillows with no pillow covers by someone who couldn't pronounce the word "pillow". Overall, really disorganized and doesn't seem to be improviing. No one really cares about guests at this place. Avoid.

I had to wait 25 minutes in the lobby. It took more than 40 minutes for them to see the deal from Expedia in their system I hate Hotels.com since it got taken over by Expedia There is no way to reach someone on the phone and the bot sucks. The reward is really not as good: I used to earn 1 night on 10 booked. Now I am getting a couple of $ for each night. I will research for an alternative for 2024

It is the off season and a holiday week, so things were definitely a little slower everywhere and lots of places in the area were closed. The indoor pool was great, especially since it was chilly and rainy outside. The room had a nice fireplace and the property was really well maintained. Only had a couple of minor hiccups but overall enjoyable.

I know it’s off season. But the staff needs some training. After calling that I would be late for pre-paid check in, to please allow my GF access to room.(two calls) she still had to call from the desk..no message shared…GF had to call from desk..I was there in 20 minutes to check in. Fireplace doesn’t work..asked for repair..no repair..asked for room change..never occurred to front desk to offer..no call back to move us. Too bad ..we come here three four times a year… RA McCall

Great fun.
We had a great experience. They have a kitchen bar adjacent to the Lobby Food was great. Specially the stuffed hadoc. And their cocktails to die for. Dave in the bar. Made us feel at home and was a very pleasant person to talk and joke about. Over all great. Only down side is that we paid for ocean view... I felt cheated. Our room was on the side of the building. Yes I could see the ocean. But for the upgrade price I expected more

Love this place it was amazing great location beautiful views only 2 issues some of the staff looked just unhappy and disinterested like they were abused or something and the pool is ice cold. Still planning to come back I still highly recommend
