Our rooms were great, and the location is wonderful and has great views of Boston. From the hotel you can easily walk to sites like the USS Constitution and the Bunker Hill Monument. The only downside is that it was overpriced relative to other hotels nearby.

I miss the hot tub. This is something that customers appreciate. It is good to see that updates are happening, but disappointing to see that the new layout has a shower instead of a bathtub.

Hotel rooms are very nice. Unfortunately visit we have made the pool has been closed. With small kids this is very hard. Once the pool is open will be a top notch facility. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great continental breakfast!

Hot tub was sadly closed permanently. The website indicated not and was one of the leading reasons I chose to stay there. Other than that, staff was very friendly and it was a cozy stay.

The hotel was under renovations. It was not listed as such on the booking site. I booked this hotel for the amenities all of which were closed. The lobby was open to the frigid -1 degree temps in New England. Our room was fine. But the windows let in cold Air and were covered in water on the inside, actually dripping down. When I brought this up at check out the manager was extremely condescending and rude. DO NOT BOOK HERE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE.

The hotel is currently going under some renovations, since the dirtiness and loudness. But otherwise it seem to be a really nice hotel. Very convenient for what we needed. The problem we had was with the ridiculous parking fee that we were charged for one night parking. The first night we stayed. It was 40 bucks like we were told at the front desk. The second day for the same amount of time all of a sudden the price was $79. This is double the price that we were told and the attendant said that they have nothing to do with the hotel. Even though the person at the desk said it would be $40 a day in that lot across the street.

Great hotel within easy walking distance of town and public transport and we enjoyed our stay. Only drawback was the renovation work that was ongoing that we weren’t aware of when booking which meant the pool was closed.

We booked this hotel because it has an indoor pool. The pool was closed but we were not told that until we checked in. The rooms are dated and the bathroom sink would not drain properly. However, the staff were very kind.

First room was covered with black mold in bathroom. Second room was fine, but very tired. Mattress is lumpy and uncomfortable. The hotel is going through a big renovation so be aware of the noise, chaos and discomfort.

This hotel is well below Marriott standards as many on line reviews will attest to. The hotel I’m told is going to commence a complete renovation starting December 4th. Unfortunately I did not do my due diligence prior to making my reservation and paid the price with 6 nights of very poor sleep due to a worn out mattress and pillows that were so tall they were practically impossible to use.
Marriott was unable to do anything about the situation, and judging from the canned responses they provided on all of the negative reviews I read they do not plan to.
As the saying goes…buyer beware.

When is it ok to charge for parking at a hotel?
Not unless informed ahead of time.
Parking was $83- for 16/17 hrs.
Hotel was ok but finding out after we left by text that we “paid” $83- for parking was not acceptable.
Was told by staff where we parked was “ok”.
I guess ok means paying $83- for parking.

This property is pretty worn and rooms are run down. Furniture is in poor condition and my mattress very soft/sagging.I stay here so that my children and grandchildren can stay in my condo. The convenience is undoubtable. Really think you should spruce this place up.

The hotel was very well kept and the free breakfast was very good. The only issue we had was that the indoor pool was not very warm , in fact it was quite cold. Parking was valet and very easy but pricey at $50 per night.

Expensive for a basic hotel
I find this Marriott to be pretty expensive for what it is. The view from my room was of construction and the smell of room freshener was very strong. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. There was no extra bedding when it got cold in the middle of the night.
