Horrible experience. Late arrival (10pm), and we were given a room at the farthest end of one wing. Upon opening the door, we were hit with a nasty smell of smoke. Immediately dragged our luggage back to the front, asking for a cleaner non smoking room. We now given a room at the farthest end of the other wing. It appeared to be fine, however, upon flushing the toilet the next morning, it did not clear out the basin. Tried again and it nearly overflowed. The night clerk was very nice, but could do nothing at that hour to help us. We feared using the sink or shower as they were very slow to drain and the toilet was full. My husband begged for access to a clean shower and toilet to use, and the clerk only allowed him to use a dirty room where the occupant had already left...horrible! I was not willing to do this and went in-showered, unfortunately. After talking with the new clerk, and 2 more subsequent phone calls afterwards asking for some compensation for our troubles, we were offered a $20.00 discount. However two days later, the hotel first charged us an additional $20.00, then applied a $20.00 credit, essentially giving us nothing. My final call to the manager an hour ago to attempt to straighten this out was not returned as promised. DO NOT STAY HERE!
