Easy walk to Boston Common. Room was very comfortable including bed. Consierger was helpful!

Boston long weekend

Long overdue review from Nov 2016 Pros: Nice hotel, concierges extremely helpful and easy to work with Walked to most places - took Uber when raining They recommended a fantastic seafood restaurant literally across the street (not Legal Seafood, although ok) Ostra I believe. Con: the side of the hotel in which our room was located seemed to be on a street frequented by ambulances going to nearby hospital and I could hear this during the night.

My Boston Favorite

Pros: Location.....walking neighborhoood with retail, restaurant, and bliss spa isn't far away.
Cons: Elevators! Clean the mirror and glass desk daily and make sure both shower Gels are available (smooth talk).
Location: Plenty of restaurants, shopping, and sites close by. It too far from TD gardens either.
I stay at this hotel each time I visit Boston because of location, room quality, and I always receive great service. My only disappointment was the elevators......ugh! The ride wasn't smooth, in one instance the lobby button disengaged and I rode back up to the 16 the floor after just leaving the 17th floor. I thought opit was me until I saw an employee press a button and then later it disengaged. There was limited elevator access during my stay. Perhaps repairs were pending but they could have done something to compensate for the bother. Overall, I love the renovations, the lobby bar, and the new food menu.

Overall the hotel was good and the staff are very friendly. It's in a great location and room was nice. But tiny bathroom. The elevators were terribly slow with people queued out into the foyer on multiple occasions. On one trip down it took 15 mins for the lift to come. Not ideal when you're in a hurry. Be careful of extra charges which were unexpected.

- do not get a room near the elevators, worst noise I've ever heard. just in case you get stuck with the room , bring ear plugs as a precaution - poorly run hotel

Convenient or everything: near to T Line, shopping

Pros: Location and comfort.
Cons: Sometimes there is a long wait for an elevator.
Location: Boston Common, Newbury Street, harbour and boat trips.
Spacious and comfortable bedrooms room safe, and superb location.

Smoky

We stay at the Revere with every Boston vacation, so we're very familiar with the hotel. Our check in experience was great, but when we got to our room my husband noticed a smoky smell. He called the desk to see if they're was just some construction in the room or any problems reported by previous occupants. The person who he spoke with was rude and dismissive. He requested that someone come assess the smell but the only solution the front desk came up with was to send housekeeping. My husband told them that it's not a housekeeping issue. We were finally moved to a different location.

Cons: Lobby bar bar stools are terrible. It's strange that they don't serve food in the bar, or have a restaurant.
Stayed one night. We are local, just needed a hotel for the night. This place is fine, nothing fantastic.
