Pleasant hotel. Needs concierge. The pool area needs more organization. Overall a nice hotel in the middle of the backbay.

Center of town

They stored our bags while we waited for our room. When we checked in a bell boy was supposed to bring them up in 5 minutes. We called 30 mins later and got excuses. An hour later the bags arrived. The concierge was fantastic. Drunks in hallway after midnight made sleeping difficult.

Noise from street...can't be helped and didn't mind. I did mind noise from other and different guests. Pounding on doors. Loud talking in the hallway until 2 a.m. And, it sounded like a washing machine was constantly running above our room all throughout the night. The wi-fi was inconsistent and frustrating and ended up using our own data at times. Bed was not comfortable...worn out on the sides.

Pros: All very clean.
Cons: Very good. Air conditioned Air conditioning vibrated slightly, but not too much.
Location: Good place near Subway, and Parks.
Revere Hotel Boston. Room.1918 Excellent service. Nice Hotel Center of Boston, good restaurants around. People in the elevator charming. A little expansible.

Revere hotel pool.

The location was centrally located. Clean, beds super comfy. Elevators slow, pool not guest friendly. They catered to the outside more than guests paying 300 plus a night. We couldn't use past 8 p.m. because we had kids under 21. Our concierge was superb. Loved her! She gave us every thing we asked for and more. Saved us a lot of money too. Overall, I would stay there again, but, re think your pool policy. Even Vegas let's kids in their pools, anytime day or night.

Dark, Overpriced 3 star

Pros: Pleasant and polite staff, room had comfortable clean bed
Cons: Needs new carpet and furnishings. Don't allow the general public to use and take over the pool area for $10 entry fee
Location: Close to start of Freedom Trail but prettier parts of Boston to stay
The decor and renovation of what seems to be an old Howard Johnson hotel was really disappointing for the price.

Cons: More comfortable chairs - softer, cushiony

The hotel was very modern. My husband found the chairs hard, so not so comfortable. The area was very nice, great restaurants were in the area -- bit pricey however. The staff at the hotel were pleasant and helpful. Had a great week. Great view from out window on the 23rd floor.
