Perfect for Boston Marathon

Pros: Location and staff were great.
Cons: Bigger ice buckets in the room.

First time to Boston and was there for the marathon. The hotel is attached to the Hynes Convention Center and 2 malls. The front desk staff and concierge were extremely nice and helpful with everything we asked. Our room was adequate. Not big but manageable. We were on the 24th floor with a Bay view which was great. We had a view of Harelford St. which is the last road before the turn onto Boylston St for the marathon. The airport has a bus shuttle for $7.50 and drops you off 1 block from hotel. The Trolley Tour picks you up in front of hotel. Great local seafood restaurant across the street. Boylston St is 1 block away and has lots and lots of restaurants, running shops, and the famous Boston Marathon finish line.

A little for a lot of $

We struggled with the fact that we paid about $500 a night to stay in this hotel yet the amenities were slim. It seems odd that in this day and age you have to pay for Wifi in your room. Yes you can have upto 2 hrs of free wifi per device per day in the lobby. We had to call daily to get enough towels and wash clothes. There wete 4 of us and it was The Marathon. We needed towel and wash clothes. Wash clothes were either non existent or there were 2 or 3. Bar / Grill staff very nice. Made dining experience pleasurable!

Great Boston location.

The room was clean but very small. The king size bed was very comfortable. The desk chair and other chair in the room looked like it came from a low budget garage sale. We were hesitant to sit on them. The view was the worst...we had none, we overlooked the back side of another building that didn't even have windows. It was a huge disappointment! Would not book this again.

not good experience

Front desk staff is unprofessional and impolite. Requested for King size bed, but only give me two double beds and said this is what I get from the Expedia rate. I have stayed in so many hotels through expedia.com and they always try to accommodate me with a king size bed.

Nice hotel connected to the Hynes Conv Center

For an Older hotel it was good... Hotel staff? well it's Boston... they just don't have the people skills to be Resplendent... but that is what it is... overall experience was great... people are people......

Nice and close to the conference.

Pros: The food and the hotel room.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Everything was close and convenient.
It was great that the Sheraton was attached to the mall and the Hynes Conference Center. The food at the SideBar and the breakfast place were really good. Room was cleaned on a regular basis. The staff were really friendly and the front desk was very helpful. Great experience!

Great Value

Great value for the price - this is a very nice upper four star hotel with very accommodating staff. Nice facilities. Great workout area. The pool area and water temperature was a little too cold for everyone during the winter visit that we had. The pool would have been spectacular if they kept it warmer.

Impeccable view

We stayed in the south tower and the views were amazing. We were attending a ball that night in the hotel and it's such a wonderful bonus that the hotel connects to the mall where I got my hair and make up done without having to go out into one of the coldest days in Boston.

Beautiful view of Boston
